Wearing her shoulder length locks down, she displayed a subtle make-up look, opting for a rose-tinted gloss on her lips.

Cressida looked in high spirits, flashing a smile as she left the theatre with a male companion.

Prince Harry's ex-girlfriend is currently playing a dog in The Dog Beneath the Skin, which opened to positive reviews last week.

The highly abstract play, which is set in post-WWI Europe, sees Cressida starring alongside Pete Ashmore, Edmund Digby Jones and Eva Feiler.

Her latest stage role comes as Cressida said her parents, Lady Mary Gaye Curzon and Jeffrey Bonas, would have preferred her to choose a career other than acting.

Speaking to The Times, she explained: 'Especially my dad, as he is an academic; he was a history don at Oxford, at Oriel, but not any more.

He always wanted me to be a teacher and if I wasn’t acting that’s what I would be doing. And my mum would rather I was doing something more secure and stable.'

The actress, who is dating Harry Wentworth-Stanley, revealed her hopes to start a family 'one day', but remained tight-lipped about ex-boyfriend Prince Harry and his upcoming nuptials.

Her split with Prince Harry was believed to have caused by Cressida's struggle to handle the public scrutiny that came with the two-year relationship, and her desire to pursue her acting career.

The pair remain close and there are suggestions she will be invited to the royal wedding at Windsor Castle in May.
