Analysts expect profits at the firm to fall 8 per cent to £725m as the rout of bricks and mortar retailers by online behemoths such as Amazon continues. Fellow retailer Kingfisher is also expected to report a slide in profits, capping a bleak opening three months to 2018 for the High Street.
Devilish! That's the detail buried in travel insurance where failing to reveal a simple doctor's appointment may result in NO payout
Millions of holidaymakers preparing for a getaway this year are warned to look out for a devilish detail in their travel insurance cover - one that could result in a claim being harshly rejected. Failing to tell insurers about routine visits to the doctor - even after buying a policy - could mean a claim being denied if a medical issue disrupts a person's travel plans. This problem mostly affects people who buy annual multi-trip policies and is a stark example of how people with medical conditions are routinely disadvantaged by the insurance industry.

MIDAS SHARE TIPS: Join the Caribbean oil rush as Trinidad-based Trinity Exploration & Production looks set to drum up healthy returns
At its height in 2014, Trinity Exploration & Production was valued on the stock market at about £150m and the shares were trading at 159p. Then the oil price slumped and the Trinidad-based oil producer found itself with too much debt, too many staff and a bloated cost base. Chairman Bruce Dingwall was forced to issue nearly 200m new shares as part of a comprehensive restructuring package. Today, Trinity's valuation has shrunk to £44mi and the stock is 15.5p.

Moving house? You can take a mortgage with you: How by 'porting' your home loan, you could save thousands
Spring often sparks thoughts of a house move - and questions over what to do with the home loan. But it is often the case that a home mover can take their existing mortgage with them - and save potentially thousands of pounds - in a process known as 'porting'. New research suggests widespread confusion surrounds this option. Two thirds of borrowers have not heard of porting and of those who have, one in five would not attempt it because of a dearth of information on how it works.

A £600,000 deposit, monthly payments of £26,000 and £1.8M to pay at the end - how the mega-rich finance the most exclusive supercars
You've probably seen the finance deals offered by car manufacturers in TV adverts saying you can have their latest models for as little as £100 a month. But how about £26,000 a month? That's just one of the deals put on the table for well-heeled petrol heads who enquired about financing a 200mph supercar launched at last week's Geneva Motor Show. But why don't they buy them outright?
What does £400,000 get a first-time buyer in the capital? Sarah Beeny heads to south west London to pick her bargain property of the month
Years of house price inflation mean that a nice two-bedroom flat for £400,000 can be a good deal in London, which is why Sarah Beeny, inset, picked this as her bargain property of the month. She describes as 'affordable' and 'ready to move into'. 'Properties that are this great, this affordable and this ready to move into are an absolute rarity in the capital these days,' she said.

Bank of England warns Brexit could still rock the City as its policymakers prepare to hold interest rates at 0.5%
A disorderly Brexit would pose a grave threat to the UK's world-leading financial services sector, the Bank of England warned today. The brake on economic activity and growth that Brexit is expected to apply will be central to the monetary policy committee's deliberations next week, when it is expected to sit tight on rates ahead of the next set of quarterly inflation forecasts in May.

With space for 41,000 new homes on the ROOFS of existing properties in London alone - is building upwards the answer to Britain's housing crisis?
A housebuilder specialising in rooftop development has already begun using the space above existing buildings to boost the supply of homes in Britain. It comes after the Government announced in the Housing White Paper at the end of last year that it is committed to building upwards, on 'airspace' above existing buildings.
What's the outlook for your finances? Spring Statement forecasts years of pitiful wage rises, falling savings and sluggish house prices
The figures were released alongside the Chancellor of the Exchequer's Spring Statement, an update on the health of the economy and the government's plans for the next few months. Many of the top-line figures painted a picture of a strengthening economy, with GDP revised up to 1.7 per cent for last year, 1.5 per cent this and 1.3 per cent in 2019.
We have one year left on our five-year fix but we're afraid mortgage rates will go up: Is it worth paying £2k to get out and remortgage to a cheap deal now?
With mortgage rates at rock bottom now, if we waited until December 2018, there will probably be two rate rises from the BoE and we would end up with a much worse deal. To throw another complication in: we might sell up and move in anything from 1 to 3 years' time. But we don't see this as a problem as the mortgage is portable.
Now families have just a one in 17,578 chance of getting seats together on Ryanair (no wonder so many pay the new £4-a-seat reservation fee)
Many airlines force passengers to pay an upfront charge to guarantee seats next to each other. If you don't choose this option, a computer automatically assigns seats for you. So the chances of two parents with one teenage child being automatically given seats in a row of three on a Ryanair flight are so slim that there is a better chance of them winning £100 in the National Lottery.
The dividend heroes pick up a new recruit: Another investment trust joins group that have raised payouts for at least 20 years
Investors can cheer the arrival of a fresh dividend hero - as another investment trust has joined the ranks of those that have raised payouts every year for two decades. But Invesco Income Growth has some way to go before it can match the records of the top three dividend heroes - City of London, Bankers and Alliance Trust, which have raised payouts for an astonishing 51 years in a row.
What's an 'acceptable' pension pot to retire on? Can I use some of it now to buy a house? Steve Webb replies
I'm 45 this year, and don't own a house (my ex-wife has it), but I have a fair sized amount saved in a few different pension plans. I'm trying to decide whether to reduce pension contributions and put money into getting on the housing ladder instead. Also, is there a way to use my pension savings to help in buying a house? Can the house be put into the pension in lieu of funds? What are the penalties involved?
Young workers opting out of workplace pensions could miss out on a £450K pot by the time they retire
An increase in minimum contribution rates is set to come into force in April, with concerns some savers may choose to drop out. Aegon's calculation was based on minimum contributions and also made some assumptions about investment growth.

How much money do I need to save for my pension? A quick guide to retirement saving...
The amount you can save into a pension ultimately depends on what you can afford - but the longer you leave it the more you will need to save. We tend to put ambitious targets on our hoped-for income in retirement and then underestimate how much we will need to set aside to achieve that. So how much should you save?
