He has found love again with stunning Shelby Tribble, hot on the heels of his romance with Megan McKenna.

And Pete Wicks has proved that he is finally over his former flame, as he sang the praises of the former Miss. Great Britain at the launch event for series 22 of TOWIE on Monday night.

Speaking to The Sun, the reality star, 29, admitted: 'I am not talking about Megan ever again. I’m not allowed', while his stunning new other half cheekily added: 'I don't know her so she is irrelevant.'

Pete's romance with Megan proved to be quite the tumultuous affair but Pete seems to have turned over a new leaf with Shelby.

Speaking to the publication Pete wasted no time in comparing his girlfriend to Megan, revealing: 'With Shelby all we do is laugh and have a good time together - and that’s a lovely way to be.

'We have been together for a month; we have loads of fun together. At the minute we’re in a little bubble and we’re really enjoying each other’s company,' Pete continued before adding: 'We aren’t going to get caught up in that reality TV world.'

This comes after a video, obtained by The Sun, emerged showing Shelby twerking flirtatiously on Liam, with one bystander claiming: 'Liam couldn't keep his hands off Shelby.

'He was grinding on her and kept putting his hand around her waist and on her bum.

'Shelby was loving the attention and Gatsby let her know he was enjoying It! He only had eyes for her, even though Pete was at the same party,' it was continued.

Meanwhile, Shelby couldn't contain her excitement as she arrived at the launch of the ITVBe show, rocking up at the party - hosted at cast favourite Sheesh in Chigwell, Essex - on Pete's arm on Monday night.

The striking brunette, 25, was dressed to impress in a hot pink suit, going braless in the plunging jacket and matching trousers.

The bronzed bombshell set off her daring attire with a pair of glittering gold earrings and a sparkly clutch bag to match.

Pete was looking dapper, dressed to impress in a smart black suit as he chatted to his new girlfriend.

The long-haired hunk certainly didn't seem to be missing his ex Megan McKenna, who quit the show last year in a bid to move on from their on/off romance and to focus on her music career.

Speaking to The Sun, a TV Insider said: 'Shelby is absolutely gorgeous and fits in perfectly with the cast. She's already very well-known on the Essex scene after living there for years – but is originally from Plymouth.'

Shelby, who won Miss Great Britain in 2014, is set to become enemies with Megan McKenna, 25, on the show because she has previously dated Pete.

The source added: 'In recent weeks she's been getting close to Pete, and mutual pals of the pair predict their romance will be filmed for the new series.'

Before setting her eyes on the ruggedly handsome Pete, Shelby dated Premier League footballer Danny Simpson - the ex of pop princess Tulisa - until they broke up last year.

The budding reality star will begin shooting her first scenes on the show next week, after she signed on to the popular Essex-based programme when seven members of the cast were axed in the New Year.

Amber Dowding and Chris Clark were among the stars to leave the show, alongside Mike Hassini, Jack Rigden, Jordan Brook, Maddie Hooper and Ruby Lacey.

It came amid claims that 'boring' characters had been chopped out of the line-up in a bid to spice things up.

The shock shake-up, confirmed by the channel in January, also came amid a format reshuffle which will see the ITVBe series aired just once a week instead of twice.

At the time, a TOWIE spokesperson told MailOnline: 'There are a number of cast who have mutually agreed their time on the show has come to a natural end for now.

'We wish them well and look forward to another exciting year ahead for TOWIE.'

Also joining Shelby in the new season will be Vicky Pattison's ex-boyfriend Jordan Wright, as well as boxer Dean Ralph, who previously dated Love Island's Chloe Crowhurst.
