'She knows she cannot depend on music': Cheryl seeking 'high-impact TV roles after being released by record label Polydor' as she gets back to work following birth of baby Bear

She parted ways with her record company Polydor last week while still working on her fifth studio album.

And Cheryl is now reportedly in talks with a top acting agency to bag more TV roles, after realising that she cannot rely solely on music to make money after getting back to work following the birth of her now nearly one-year-old son Bear.

According to The Sun, the former Girls Aloud singer knows that she 'cannot depends on music to give her the profile she craves' and is hoping to try her luck in TV - with her close to signing to the same acting agency that represents Strictly judge Bruno Tonioli.

Cheryl is reportedly still considering other labels beneath the umbrella of Universal Music, with whom she is still signed, after parting ways with the label directly responsible for distributing her last four solo releases.

But the songstress is now considering a re-brand and is hoping to take on more 'high-impact' TV related ventures.

A source revealed: 'Her chart career is clearly stalling, so bagging high-impact TV roles has become the priority.

'She really needs some top gigs to return her to the standing she enjoyed during her first stint on The X Factor.'

Meanwhile, Cheryl and beau Liam have been plagued by rumours of relationship woes for several months, and producer Naughty Boy recently hinted that Cheryl could address the troubles in her comeback album.
