Each fall in October UC Davis celebrates Homecoming, with students and alumni connecting over shared experiences of being an Aggie — and of course football!

We invite you to take part in the well-loved Aggie student-alumni tradition Pajamarino the Friday evening of Homecoming weekend. Dating to 1912, when “a big pajama rally was held for the basketball team,” according to the El Rodeo yearbook, the event is still going strong.

These days, our students and the Cal Aggie Marching Band-uh! rally at Central Park and parade downtown to the Davis Amtrak Station to greet alumni arriving on the train. Come join us (and don’t forget to wear your pajamas).

On Saturday, you’re invited to show your Aggie Pride at our Homecoming game in Aggie Stadium. Wear blue and gold and cheer on our football team. If you need to brush up on our “Aggie Fight Song,” get the words and listen to the Band-Uh! sing the tune on our Traditions page.

The Cal Aggie Alumni Association hosts a number of parties and events for returning alumni during the weekend, including an alumni and family tailgate before the big game. Check in closer to the October event on the association’s website for more details.
