She wore her highlighted brown hair in loose curls, and she paired her Easter Sunday-worthy outfit with a pair of nude pumps.
The first lady was introduced by State Department spokeswoman Heather Ann Nauert, and during her speech, she noted that courage is 'what sets apart the heroes from the rest.'
'Courage is the quality most needed in this world, yet it is often the hardest to find,' she said. 'Courage sets apart those who believe in higher calling and those who act on it. It takes courage not only to see wrong, but strive to right it.
'Courage is what sets apart the heroes from the rest. It is equal part bravery and nobility. The women of courage we honor here today are heroes,' she continued.

Photos of the meeting were shared on the FLOTUS Instagram page, and Melania appears to delighted to have the chance to meet the girls.
'A big thank you to Celia and her big sister Natalie from Clarksburg, MD for traveling to the @WhiteHouse to visit!' she wrote. 'I had a wonderful time watching you bake cookies! #ChocolateChipCookies.'

'When I look back, I know it's wrong,' she told Anderson Cooper of CNN. 'I'm really sorry for that. I know it's the wrong thing to do. But back in those days, I was a different girl, you know, I had fun. I was in the Playboy scene.
'I was just enjoying life as much as I could. And when I got with him there were real feelings between the two of us. Not just myself, not just him,' she continued.
'There was a real relationship there, and I kind of out of sight, out of mind with everything else. And deep inside, I did have a lot of guilt. But I still continued.'
'What can you say except I'm sorry?' she said. 'What can you say except I'm sorry? I'm sorry. I wouldn't want it done to me.'
