Three-year-old Victorian boy Ryder Grace was misdiagnosed with 'a virus' then 'arthritis' and finally 'constipation' before doctors found he was riddled with cancer including a six-centimetre tumour in his stomach. Ryder Grace's, pictured left before his sickness, top right at the time he was diagnosed and bottom right during treatment, mother Katherine said she went to the doctors a dozen times before taking her son to the children's hospital where his cancer was picked up. She is now planning to take him to America for a treatment she hopes will lower his chance of getting the cancer again - something which is likely to happen in the first six-12 months following treatment.

Angry fans, ex-players and other pundits have reacted on social media to the revelations that Steve Smith and the 'leadership group' orchestrated a method of cheating in test against South Africa. Cricket Australia announced ahead of play starting in Cape Town that Steve Smith and David Warner had been removed as captain and vice captain for the remainder of the Test match. Smith had been under pressure over whether he could continue as captain as legends criticised the plan for being hatched by senior players as he faces calls to stand down. Mr Turnbull spoke to reporters in Victoria saying the nation had woken up on Sunday 'shocked and bitterly disappointed' and wanted 'decisive action soon'.

In the aftermath of Cameron Bancroft's blatant ball-tampering in South Africa, a video has surfaced appearing to show him cheating again against England. The batsman was picked up on TV coverage in January seemingly pouring sugar into his pocket before taking to the field at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) in the fifth and final test match.   Players are barred, by Law 42.3, from rubbing the ball on the ground, interfering with its seam or surface, or using any implement that can alter the condition of the ball to thereby gain unfair advantage. In the past, players have been fined and banned by the authorities for using sweets or mints to get a better shine on the ball - and Bancroft, who was only playing his fifth Test in Sydney, could have used the sugar to do the same. Australia's captain Steve Smith and vice captain David Warner have been stripped of their roles after Bancroft was seen using tape to tamper with the ball on the fourth day of the third Test in Cape Town yesterday.

The Port Douglas Crocs Aussie rules football club posted a photo of what looked to be a huge crocodile on the field during a rain soaked training session, its jaws looking ready to snap. The photo comes as a deluge continues to inundate Port Douglas, flooding parts of the football field. North Queensland is home to some very large crocodiles and floods are known to get them on the move.

Casino mogul James Packer has been spotted on a solitary cigarette break after checking in to a $5000-a-night mental health facility in Boston. Packer, 50, checked in to The Pavilion at McLaren Hospital on Thursday night, accompanied by his mother and friend Guy Jallan. Packer has received an outpouring of support from his friends and family, with mother Ros flying to Boston to be with him when he checked in to the psychiatric facility, and friends close by throughout the process.

Qantas CEO Alan Joyce was aboard the direct flight from Perth to London describing the 9000km 17 hour flight as a major milestone for Australia as well as global aviation. To ensure there will be more direct flights from Australia to Europe, Mr Joyce said Qantas needs to show it will work economically.

A mother who reached 'breaking point' after three decades caring for her autistic son has relived the night she attempted a murder-suicide with her disabled son. In this tricky puzzle, players from around the world are asked to identify 15 different words that have been partially erased, picking the correct multiple choice answer. Creator Cody Cross, who shared the puzzle on PlayBuzz , compared the task to a 'visual IQ test'. He explained that successful players will be those who can 'visualise patterns in their mind's eye' and 'think in 3D'.

NEW Historic black and white photographs show crime suspects arrested more than 160 years ago and are believed to be among 'the oldest of their kind' still in existence. The series of images were released by West Midlands Police and are accompanied with handwritten notes of suspected offenders. The discovered pictures include one of Isaac Ellery and another of Catherine Legge which were taken by the then Birmingham City Police in the 1850s. Ellery was convicted in 1853 for stealing 'gig cushions' and given seven years 'transportation' - a Victorian punishment that saw offenders shipped to the colonies to serve sentences abroad.

An Australian couple has taken the phrase 'white wedding' to a whole new level with a spectacular ceremony at subzero temperatures. Brisbane pair Jean Summers, 40, and Dean Reeves, 42, decided to tie the knot in Japan's northern most island Hokkaido in late January and kicked off their special day with a ski down the slopes. 'It wasn't even a big decision for us, it was a bit of a no-brainer. Dean proposed in the snow two years ago on Christmas Eve and we absolutely love skiing,' Joan told FEMAIL.

In Victoria, a determined wallaby ditched his diet of grass and set off for greener pastures, heading for the local supermarket for a browse in the air-conditioned aisles.The wallaby can be seen hopping through a supermarket car park, ducking and weaving its way through people, cars and trolleys. An estimated 15,000 people participated in March for Our Lives in Phoenix, Arizona. But they were met with a few dozen counter-protesters. Some of these people brought their own guns. The Arizona Department of Public Safety confirmed that no one was arrested during the events on Saturday. Arizona has some of the most lenient gun laws in the country. A freak weather incident turned snow an eerie shade of orange in at least four countries.  The bizarre phenomenon has been reported in cities in Russia, Bulgaria, Ukraine and Romania and footage of the strange snow quickly went viral. Ski resorts resembled sandy beaches after turning orange while several witnesses said the scenes looked 'apocalyptic' and compared it to the surface of Mars. Experts blamed the weird snow - which in some places even looked brown - on a combination of sand and pollen.

A woman was all smiles after being dragged from the surf at Sydney's Bondi Beach on Sunday. The woman was seen struggling in the surf before being all too happy to be rescued by a tattooed lifeguard. A Waverley Council spokeswoman described it as a 'fairly routine day' and the only people who needed to be rescued were weak swimmers despite thousands of revellers flocking to the iconic famous beach to beat the 32 degree heat.

The older sister of President Donald Trump is selling her Florida home for nearly $23million, A sales contract is pending on the eight-bedroom beachfront property, owned by Maryanne Trump Barry. It's not clear when the sale will close or who the buyer is. Barry, 80, purchased the home, located near Mar-a-Lago, in 2004 for $11.5million. The outlet reports that she owns the home through a revocable trust. The 1125 S Ocean Boulevard property has eight bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, an open entertaining area with a formal living room, a sun room, a family room and a library. Outside there's a large backyard in-ground swimming pool, an balcony with a view of the ocean and a patio.
