Earlier this month police escorted them out of a diner after a family dinner ended in strife.

But things were much more cordial as Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott took their five children to dinner in Calabasas on Thursday night.

The couple appeared calm and relaxed in one another's company as they ate at Lovi's Deli alongside one-year-old baby Beau and his siblings Finn, five, Hattie, six, Stella, nine and 11-year-old Liam.

Dean sat across the table eating his meal, as the family went unnoticed amid the busy backdrop of the local deli.

While the scene was unremarkable, it was a different story earlier in the month when officers escorted the group out of the Black Bear Diner in Tarzana, California on March 9.

A row between Tori and Dean was photographed by other diners, amid the bustle of the restaurant. Police were called, but after defusing the situation left the scene.

Life at home for the family of seven has seemed unstable as of late.

The diner spat came days after were also called to the family's residence for a 'domestic incident.'

Spelling heard a noise while at home and called the police, only to find it was her husband returning home.

Days later officials were once again called by Dean to check in on Tori during a doctor's appointment after she left the home with at least one of their children.

It's uncertain why Dean was concerned about his wife, but after deputies spoke with Tori inside the doctor's office and determined she and the children were fine, everyone went on their way.
