Look away Ewan! McGregor's 'on-off girlfriend' Mary Elizabeth Winstead gets doted on by co-star Will Smith as they film Gemini Man in Georgia

Will Smith and Mary Elizabeth Winstead were hard at work together on Tuesday.

The pair were filming their upcoming movie Gemini Man at a beach on the barrier island Tybee, which is a stone's throw from Savannah, Georgia. As they sat next to each other on the sand, 49-year-old Will could be seen dabbing wounds on 33-year-old Mary's face for a scene.

The beauty has been in the news lately for splitting from beau Ewan McGregor, though in late February People claimed they were still dating.

Mary was wrapped up in a black, white and grey tartan shawl with tassels, while Will wore a charcoal jacket with an olive-green shirt and a pair of jeans.

When the pair of them stood up, Mary could be seen to be wearing a purple button-down shirt, which she left open over a bright red V-neck top.

Directed by Academy Award winner Ang Lee, Gemini Man stars Will as a hit man named Henry, according to its IMDb page.

Henry finds himself having to fight against his own clone - and to make matters worse, that clone is of him when he was younger.

Due out next year, the film has a cast that includes Clive Owen, Benedict Wong, Linda Emond, Justin James Boykin and Kenny Sheard.

Earlier this month, Will uploaded a selfie video from Georgia as he began principal photography on the upcoming thriller.

The movie star, whose face was covered in protective mesh, said: 'So, this my first day of shooting on a movie. It’s called Gemini Man. We shooting in Georgia.'

Sitting in a car, he said: 'I love Georgia, but y’all gotta do something ‘bout the bugs.' As he emerged from the automobile, he clarified: 'Georgia’s so gorgeous.'

He continued: 'Nah, it really is, it’s beautiful, but you gotta rock this s*** to be out here, alright?' The Hancock star pinched the mesh.

'So, I’m just saying, y’all need to fix it, ‘cause I put Off – I sprayed Off on. The bugs is on that like it’s honey. I make – I make my living with my face, so somebody do something about it, quick.'

The actors went public in November when they were seen in LA walking hand in hand.
