Harry Potter star Joshua Herdman in foul mouthed rant: Goyle 'calls fan c*** in shocking online row'
Harry Potter star Joshua Herdman reportedly hurled abuse at a fan who messaged him on Instagram asking if he was taking drugs.
In screenshots obtained by The Sun, Joshua - who played Gregory Goyle in the film series - called movie buff Chris a 'c***', 'r****d', and asked if he was 'special in the head'.
The exchange began when Chris messaged the actor, 30, asking why he would want to 'f**k up his chances' of being an actor by allegedly taking drugs.

In the series of messages over Instagram, Joshua replied: 'Absolute r****d mate, have [you] looked in the mirror recently?'
As Chris explained he was a 'big Harry Potter fan', Joshua continued: 'Have [you] nothing better to do [you] f***ing loser.'
He went on to ask Chris if he was “special in the head” and upon seeing a small child in the fan's profile picture, added he felt sorry for his daughter 'with a dad like you', claiming it 'should be illegal for people like you to be parents'.
Chris told the publication: 'Joshua thought I was being rude to him but I was just being honest.
'I loved him in Harry Potter and thought he was a brilliant actor. I was so upset – he called me all the names under the sun and even brought my child into it - I will never watch the films again'
MailOnline has contacted Joshua's representatives for comment.
