However scores of the star's fans were quick to compliment her saying she looked 'beautiful' in the snaps.

Dr Firas Al-Niaimi, Group Medical Director at sk:n clinics, also gave MailOnline his opinion on Scarlett's changing face, saying she may have had work done.

'Scarlett has been able to correct early signs of ageing through various skincare treatments which, when carried out properly and safely by an expert clinic can work very effectively to balance out the face.

'Scarlett’s chin is stronger, and her cheeks are higher which suggest she may have had dermal filler treatment in these areas. Her eyebrows are now more raised and arched suggesting she may have had Botox and fillers in these areas, too.'

MailOnline has contacted a representative for Scarlett for comment.

A source told Now Magazine the star was planning to have up to 'six cosmetic procedures' in the coming months including 'body sculpting'.

'Scarlett hasn't ruled out plans to have surgery in the coming months. She feels the way she looks has a direct effect on her career and she has to keep improving her figure to get the big TV jobs.
