Police have charged two boys, aged 10 and 16, and a 13-year-old girl with assault after the trio allegedly went on a horrific crime spree in Adelaide. The gang of youths, described as being of Aboriginal appearance, are allegedly behind a string of attacks – including the bashing of a grandmother that was caught on CCTV (main). The elderly woman was allegedly kicked in the face by one of the attackers and slashed with a knife (injury inset) before being called ‘white invaders’ and ‘dogs’. Police believe the group of children were also responsible for attacking a man with a garden stake and pegging rocks at cars on a highway. 

NEW Calyn Hoad has cheated death twice. In 2013, he was hit by a 4WD after pushing his younger brother out of the way - splitting his skull in two (top and bottom right) and leaving him unable to walk or talk. Calyn persevered, and learned to walk again, but could barely form words. In 2016, he was diagnosed with meningitis, an infection of the brain which can be deadly. The mother and father of James Skillen, a three-year-old boy who went missing in the bush in regional New South Wales, have shared their joy over being reunited with their son. James went missing for 18 hours before being found on a 4WD track. The parents thanked Emergency Services for their efforts, calling James' return an 'Easter miracle'.

In an exclusive interview, Kopu revealed how he climbed the ranks of the underworld group to become a chapter president. Kopu said he first joined the street gang as an impressionable 15-year-old - abused by his father, who even beat him over the head with a hammer - and eventually came a prison yard kingpin and drug lord who raked in 'mega bucks' for methamphetamine. He has since reformed and left the crime world behind, improving his relationships with his wife (bottom left) and family.

The last two northern white rhino on Earth appeared mournful during a memorial held for the final male of their kind as the species stands on the brink of extinction. Sudan, 45, died last month after suffering from a degenerative muscle and bone condition linked to age which left him unable to stand up. Sudan's demise should spell the end of his subspecies, but scientists have gathered genetic material and hope to develop IVF techniques to produce more white rhinos. He is survived by the last two females of his species, his 27-year-old daughter Najin and 17-year-old granddaughter Fatu. The pair appeared sad when they attended a memorial service for Sudan, whose death has led a Kenyan government official to declare anyone caught possessing ivory should be sentenced to life in prison.

A diamond unearthed in India 300 years ago that has passed through the hands of four European dynasties, even appearing on a tiara owned by Marie Antoinette, could fetch more than £5million at auction when it goes on sale for the first time. The 6.16-carat Farnese Blue diamond was discovered in the Golconda mine, where the Hope Diamond was also found. The first historical record of the stone came in 1715, when it was gifted to the Italian-born queen of Spain Elisabeth Farnese following her marriage to King Philip V of Spain. The pear-shaped, dark grey-blue diamond was then passed down through seven generations of European royalty, going from Space, to France, Italy and Austria. It is to be auctioned off by Sotheby's next month.

When we think of ancient ruins, we think of dilapidated monuments, half-standing columns and crumbling steps. But an animated video has given us insight to how these structures might have looked if they hadn't been destroyed. This Is Render and Expedia have teamed up in animated video to give us an idea of how seven ancient ruins would have looked in their heyday. Among the ruins were the Parthenon in Greece, Nohoch Mul Pyramid in Mexico, the Temple of Jupiter in Italy, Milecastle 39 in England, Luxor Temple in Egypt, the Pyramid of the Sun in Mexico and Area Sacre Di Largo Argentina in Italy and how they appeared then and now.

She walked in both the 2016 and the 2017 Victoria's Secret Fashion shows. But Maggie Laine was arrested on March 17 in Muscogee County, Georgia for possessing marijuana, according to TMZ. The model, 21, had less than an ounce on her at the time of her arrest, reports the website.

A 61-year-old woman protesting police brutality at a demonstration in Sacramento was hit by a deputy in a squad car on Saturday night. A shocking video (center) shows Wanda Cleveland being struck by the vehicle, and she can be seen on the ground in photographs (left and right) taken after the impact. The extent of her injuries are not known. Witnesses say the deputy who hit Cleveland did not stay around to see if she was alright and simply drove away. The protest started as a vigil for Stephon Clark (inset), a 22-year-old unarmed black man who was fatally shot by Sacramento police on March 18. An autopsy released on Friday revealed he had been shoot seven times in the back. 

Dashcam footage has been captured showing a skateboarder colliding with a car in the Adelaide CBD. The heart-stopping footage shows the rider flying through an intersection into the car. The skateboarder disappears from view as he collides with the car, however, a large crack appears in the car's windshield and shards of glass can be seen flying from where the skateboarder impacts with the vehicle.

Tamer Hosny's gig in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, sold out within two hours despite concert-goers being told women and men would be seated in different areas of the arena. The decision was widely mocked on social media, with one Twitter user saying: Ladies and gentlemen, please fasten your seat belts. The corridors and seats will be equipped with sway detectors. Anyone who thinks about swaying will be kicked out.'

The man, from Athens, Ohio, covered up the bullseye on the board for the dare. He remained completely unfazed when the dart got stuck right in his forehead. Friends screamed at him to pull it out before one finally went up to help him.

The dramatic scenes from Redcar, North Yorkshire, were caught on camera after a man fell from a slipway at around 4pm on Good Friday. One man attempted to save the fallen fellow on his own before falling in himself. After that, a man and a woman also fell into the sea while trying to save the pair. The Redcar Royal National Lifeboat Institution spokesperson David Cocks said: 'This was a sequence of events which could so easily have led to multiple deaths.'

Sometimes a dog just needs to get a load off his furry chest. In January, a dog and his owner from Dorsten, Germany, were caught on camera putting on a bluesy performance that is hard to ignore. The video begins with the owner sitting at the piano, while the black and tan dog reclines on a nearby grey rug. As soon as the first chord is struck, the dog turns his head to look at his owner, as if waiting for his cue to start crooning. A handful of chords later, the dog lets loose an emotional whine, turning back towards the camera and pressing his snout down on the carpet, looking appropriately down and out.
