The 47-year-old was the prime target for a bird that desperately needed to empty its bowels while mid-flight on Monday.

Thankfully, he was just wearing casual clothes at the time - teaming a grey T-shirt with a baseball cap.

Despite the minor setback, Matt appears to be enjoying his time Down Under this week.

Later on, he was spotted dining at a cafe with his family and fellow Hollywood stars Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky.

Matt and his wife Luciana Barroso are in Australia with their four daughters, enjoying a holiday with Hemsworths and their three children.

It follows rumours the Good Will Hunting star was looking to relocate to the NSW coastal town.
