But Kim Kardashian West has admitted to being 'obsessed' with a high street mascara that's a purse-friendly £10.

Writing on her app, Kim revealed she is a huge fan of L'Oréal Paris' Voluminous Mascara in Carbon Black.

She wrote: 'I've been using this product for years! The colour is the perfect shade of black and it really lifts and separates each lash.'

Revealing that her makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic is a fan of the budget mascara too, she added: 'It's perfect for an everyday look, or you can layer on multiple coats for a more dramatic effect.'

The mascara, a bestseller in the UK, costs around £10.99 ($6 in the US) and contains Ceramide R and Panthenol, designed to leave lashes looking 'conditioned, smoother and fuller'.

It has a five-star rating on Amazon, receiving rave reviews online.

One happy customer wrote: 'This mascara has a formula that I have never used before, it's a drier formula so when I used it it still felt moist but I didn't feel like I was coating my lashes in a super wet product.
