Giana De Laurentiis was out to redeem herself on The Ellen Show Monday after a disastrous cooking demo with Nicole Kidman back in May.
While the 47-year-old cook may be considered one of the best chefs in America, she had a hard time impressing Kidman who blatantly threw shade at her cooking.

Burn! While the 47-year-old cook may be considered one of the best chefs in America, she had a hard time impressing Kidman who blatantly threw shade at her cooking
Back in May, both Ellen DeGeneres and Kidman were given a cooking tutorial by the American-Italian chef.
But things went awry from the very beginning as both women were hysterically laughing and talking over Giada as she tried to give them instructions.
The Australian actress was left seriously underwhelmed after tasting De Laurentiis' focaccia.
Slammed: Kidman was left seriously underwhelmed after tasting De Laurentiis' focaccia during the cooking segment back in May. 'It's a little tough,' the Lion star told her, after taking a bite of the homemade flatbread
Defensive: 'Nicole, it has been sitting there for, like, five hours!' the petite chef hit back

'Nicole, it has been sitting there for, like, five hours!' the petite chef hit back.
'I hate doing these things for that reason!' Giada added, speaking about the cooking segment.
But Nicole wasn't having any of it.
'I know you're not meant to criticize, but it's a little tough,' she reiterated, before spitting it out into her hand.
Sips tea: Giada was clearly relieved on Monday that Nicole was not in attendance. 'She's not here, right?' De Laurentiis asked. 'I know you surprise people coming out of things'

Fun and games: The segment's cooking lesson included an alcoholic beverage, avocado dip, and pizza...once again. 'I figured if we got you drunk enough, you wouldn't know the difference,' Giada said in reference to a possible poor outcome

And sure enough, the silliness ensued when De Laurentis dumped too much salt into the bean dip.
The duo eventually ended the show with a pizza dough fight.
