She has been one of the world's most recognisable actresses for more than twenty years, having shot to fame in Quentin Tarantion's Pulp Fiction in 1994.

And Uma Thurman proved to have only got better with age on Wednesday, as she enjoyed a relaxing day at the beach in St Barts.

The screen star, 47, showed off her incredible figure in a slinky silver swimsuit as she topped up her tan, and enjoyed a cooling dip in the sea beneath the Caribbean sunshine.

The mother-of-three showed off her envy-inducing figure in the swimsuit, formed of a slinky chainmail material of shimmering silver.

The one-piece plunged into a deep V at the chest, to give a glimpse of her cleavage to all, before hugging her impressively slender frame the rest of the way down.

Cutting off high at her thigh, the swimsuit then drew attention to her famously statuesque and leggy frame as she paraded up and down the beach. 

Proving to be more than confident with her figure, the shimmering all-in-one also pulled into a striking strappy design at the back, to show off plenty of sun-kissed skin from her idyllic break as she enjoyed some respite in the heat.

She swept her hair into a simple messy bun, to display her enviably clear and glowing complexion to all - looking far younger than her 47 years.

Opting to go make-up free, Uma tied her beach look together with retro rectangular sunglasses of jet black, as she soaked up the sunshine on the island.  

The actress was first seen paddling in the crystal waters, in order to cool off from the blazing heat during her day at the beach.

Perhaps tiring of her exercise, Uma was then seen retiring to her sun lounger to relax with her family - layering a crisp white shirt and vibrant printed trousers atop her look.

Later protecting herself further with a big straw hat, the blonde proved to be completely relaxed as she laughed and joked with her children in the shade, before the clan headed off to their next destination for dinner.  

Uma appeared to be enjoying a relaxing holiday with her family, amid rumours she has found love again with Josh Lucas. 

According to Page Six, the pair were seen kissing in New York City earlier this month at Jimmy's Corner - a bar close to the Hudson Theatre, where they were performing side-by-side in Broadway play The Parisian Woman.

Josh only heightened rumours with an interview with People last month, when he said of their characters' chemistry: 'The characters had bite and, at the core, the play went beyond politics to focus on deep, passionate love.

Speaking out: The 47-year-old alleged in her article with the New York Times that the producer first made sexual advances towards her in a Parisian hotel room, before later attacking her again in London. Weinstein has denied the claims

'Most of all, Uma was and is this actress who I knew was really going make this extraordinary and push me hard as an artist.' 

Uma was previously married to French financier Arpad Busson, and the pair welcomed daughter Luna in 2012 before their split in April 2014.

The Kill Bill star was also married to Gary Oldman for two years back in 1990, and actor Ethan Hawke in 1998. She and Ethan share two children - daughter Maya, 19, and son Levon, 15. 

Despite her successful acting career, Uma has turned her attention to campaigning in recent weeks after revealing she was sexually harassed on multiple occasions by shamed producer Harvey Weinstein.

During an appearance on The Late Show With Seth Meyers, show host Seth congratulated Uma on her essay in The New York Times in which she detailed her claims against Weinstein. 

The blonde beauty said: 'Well, you've got to be a citizen and you can't leave people alone holding the bag of truth by themselves. There’s no one I wish to get due process more than him.'

The 47-year-old alleged in her article that the producer first made sexual advances towards her in a Parisian hotel room, before later attacking her again in London. 

She wrote: 'It was such a bat to the head. He pushed me down. He tried to shove himself on me. He tried to expose himself. He did all kinds of unpleasant things.

'But he didn't actually put his back into it and force me. You're like an animal wriggling away, like a lizard. I was doing anything I could to get the train back on the track. My track. Not his track.'

Uma also told the New York Times that she later confronted Harvey in a hotel about the encounter, leading to an incident which she cannot fully remember. 

After her allegations were published, Weinstein’s lawyers issued a statement in which they claimed he was considering legal action against Uma, insisting she had made 'false accusations' against him. 

They said: 'Mr Weinstein acknowledges making an awkward pass at Ms Thurman 25 years ago which he regrets and immediately apologized for.

'Why Ms. Thurman would wait 25 years to publicly discuss this incident and why according to Weinstein, she would embellish what really happened to include false accusations of attempted physical assault is a mystery to Weinstein and his attorneys.

'Ms Thurman's statements to the Times are being carefully examined and investigated before deciding whether any legal action against her would be appropriate.'
