They met while working together on the National Theatre production of Phedre in London in 2009.

But after eight years, the actors have called time on their romance, according to PageSix.com Wednesday.

The gossip site reported that the relationship had 'run its course' and the two stars are said to be moving on.

They were last photographed together in December.

Before dating Negga, Cooper had a two-year relationship with his Mama Mia! co-star Amanda Seyfried.

Negga, who was nominated for an Oscar for the 2016 film Loving, had spoken in the past about trying to juggle her career with starting a family.

'By the time you're in a great relationship, it's like, oh, I'm 35. S***. So there is part of your thinking that is: 'Do I want kids? When? If? How?'' she told The Edit in July 2017.

'It's there, all the time, preoccupying me. And that's not being an actor, it's being a woman.'

The actress added: 'I don't know what [job] really creates a safe space for a woman to have time out, prolong the human race, and return to work in a very supportive way.'

Layer up like Ruth in a fur bomber jacket by Louis Vuitton

Spring might be here, but the one thing you can always depend on weather-wise in the UK is chilly temperatures. So a furry jacket is a good purchase at any time of the year!

Ruth Negga showed us how it's done when she attended the Louis Vuitton AW18 presentation in Paris last month. Her pink jeans, ankle boots and boho blouse are a great combination, but it's her fur bomber jacket that has really got us reaching for those credit cards...

It's of course by Louis Vuitton (it would be rude not to rock a bit of LV on the front row, right?) and we love the neutral hue and hooded design. Practical and stylish! Unfortunately it's not yet available, but click (right) to browse the current jacket collection.

Or recreate Ruth's look with the help of our edit below. From Maniere De Voir to Mother, we've got all budgets covered.
