The 28-year-old TV personality couldn't be missed in an ultra vibrant patchwork knitted cardigan - which appeared strikingly similar to the famous Technicolor Dreamcoat costume.

The X Factor alum didn't stop at her eye-catching quilt design by Shop Fluffy, opting for a pair of white plimsoll trainers with adorable bunny ears poking out of the laces and fluffy pink tails on the back.

Stacey toned down the rest of her ensemble, rocking a pastel blue rucksack and simple hoop earrings.

The Loose Women beauty swept her blonde locks away from her face with a chic French braid, while smokey make-up complemented her natural beauty.

Never one to shy away from dramatic style choices, Stacey drove Loose Women fans wild on social media on Thursday with her corkscrew curls, with followers drawing some unlikely comparisons between the blonde beauty and characters including Medusa and Annie.

In a change from her usual sleek locks, the former singer rocked a bouncy head of tight curls, matched with some vibrant purple eyeshadow.

She was on the show to discuss cutting-edge issues but unfortunately for Stacey, the focus had very much shifted to her new hairdo as she spoke.

Not one to back down, Stacey responded to the posts by sharing a very glamorous selfie, showing her pouting proudly with her curls on full display.

She wrote: 'Curls just wanna have fun decided channel my inner @nadiaandkaye and Baby on @loosewomen today and I Loved It! Hid my roots brilliantly!

'And for anyone who was offended by my curly hair (I noticed a few)... I’m not sorry... #nobodyputsbabyinthecorner.'

Stacey is currently in a relationship with actor Joe Swash.

She welcomed Zachary with teenage sweetheart Dean Cox in 2008 when she was 18. Leighton arrived in 2012 with Stacey splitting from his father Aaron in 2014.
