The Mummy Diaries: ‘Patient’ Sam Faiers praised for handling 'uninterested' beau Paul Knightley while baby Paul throws tantrums

Sam Faiers was praised dealing with beau Paul Knightley and two-year-old baby Paul on Wednesday's instalment of The Mummy Diaries.

The former TOWIE star was seen struggling to communicate with her other half on various day to day topics, such as potty training their son and booking their first family holiday together.

Coupled with baby Paul's tantrums throughout the episode, the reality star, 27, was commended by viewers for being an 'inspiration' and powering through motherhood, despite her beau constantly 'undermining' her.

Throughout the episode, an immaculately cool and collected Sam was seen calming baby Paul down during his tantrums.

Detailing her ability to handle her young son's outbursts during the episode, viewers tweeted:

'All these people saying Paul is spoilt clearly have perfect children, he is two years old and having tantrums that’s all. All I see is @SamanthaFairs being the best mummy she can be.'

'I really look up to @SamanthaFaiers as a mum to baby Paul, she's so patient, determined, down to earth and loving. What an inspiration.'

And with the show chronicling their lives as they juggle parenthood, she decided to power on with potty training Paul.

However, the major adjustment for his son didn't prove to be a massive deal for Paul as he let Sam get on with the potty training expert.

Later on, Sam was keen on booking their family's first holiday with baby Rosie and narrowed down the option to Dubai, despite having been there fifteen times already.

Asking Paul what he thought of the idea, he simply agreed with her desires and let her go ahead with booking the sun-drenched getaway.

Fans of the show were also left none too please by big Paul's communication with Sam.

'Sam’s there talking to him and he just ignores her all the time?! Cannot bloody stand the guy! #TheMummyDiaries.'

'Paul seems really uninterested and undermines Sam. Maybe its just me lol #themummydiaries.'

Elsewhere Billie Faiers and Greg Shepherd's three-year-old daughter Nelly took centre stage as the parents became locked in a debate about whether she is old enough to wear a bikini.

Billie was seen packing for a 12 day trip to the Maldives, she filled a room with clothes for her eldest and one-year-old son Arthur yet when Greg joins her he is insistent that Nelly is too young for her first bikini despite Billie's objections.

Billie was seen surrounded by a vast amount of clothes as she tells the camera: 'Where do I start? We're going to the Maldives for 12 days so I'm sorting out the kids' stuff. All of this is Nelly's and then these two little piles are Arthur's'.

While cooing over the items she said: 'This is Nelly's first bikini but I haven't shown it to Greg because maybe she's too young to have her first bikini. I just thought it's so cute.

'Also I've got us matching outfits and I know it's so over the top and this is Nelly;s version and I've for the adult version. Very tropical. I'm a really good packer in that I never forget anything but I'm a really bad packer in that I always over pack.'

Once Greg made an appearance, he made his feelings very clear on the bikini, saying: 'Ah not a bikini. She's too young for a bikini. She is. No I just think she's a bit too young for it. Kids in bikinis it's like nah.'

In the hilarious clip, Nelly then tottered around with her bags as she prepared to pack for the trip shortly before Billie revealed she always brings tupperware with her on holiday so she can take food from the breakfast.

She said: 'This is such a mum thing to have isn't it Tupperware? With the kids we like to take stuff from breakfast', after which Arthur said: 'It's not for the kids it's for you! So you're stealing from the breakfast you're not actually allowed to do that.'

In 2013, Kourtney Kardashian came under fire for allowing her then-one-year-old daughter Penelope dress in a leopard print string bikini, as the ensemble was deemed inappropriate for the tot.

It seems Greg won the battle as the pictures from their holiday saw Nelly in a swimming costume in nearly all of Billie's snaps.

At the football match kicked off, things looked promising as Sam stood on the side by the side and said: 'He's walked straight in and it's like wow this massive hall with loads of people looking on. Oh good he's holding the ball, we have progress.'

Unfortunately baby Paul soon lost interest and began crying, which led to a disheartened Sam saying: 'He just wasn't in the mood for it. He just didn't want to get down. It was a bit of a disaster.'
