And on Thursday, Chris Hemsworth showed off his godlike physique while surfing in his hometown of Byron Bay, Australia.

The 34-year-old Hollywood star flaunted his muscular frame while catching waves in the ocean.

Chris enjoyed a late-afternoon surfing session before heading home to his mansion, which is located nearby.

He looked relaxed and blended in with the locals, who were also enjoying the gentle waves just before sunset.

Chris is a lifelong surfing enthusiast, and is friends with Australian pro Mick Fanning.

Mick recently told The Morning Show he hasn't given Chris any tips, despite the fact they've being spotted surfing together in the past.

'He can surf. I've surfed with Chris before, he's a good surfer. I was in awe, just like everyone else. Man crushing,' Mick joked.

Last September, Chris spoke to News.com.au about the extreme diet and exercise program he follows to prepare for Thor films.
