Camping is Jennifer's first TV show since Alias, which wrapped in 2006.
The show, being filmed just outside of LA, is based on the British series created by Julia Davis and co-written by Lena Dunham and Jeni Konner, who also showrun.
It centers on Walt (Tennant), whose 45th birthday was supposed to be a delightful weekend back to nature, at least according to his obsessively organized and aggressively controlling wife Kathryn (Garner).
But when the camping trip gathers Kathryn’s meek sister, holier-than-thou ex-best friend and a free-spirited Tagalong in one place, it becomes a weekend of tested marriages and woman-on-woman crime that won’t soon be forgotten. Plus, bears.
Say Anything star Ione Skye also shared a photo during production which showed some of the cast including Jennifer huddled round in a circle.

'Huddling up at #campinghbo rehearsals. Photo by @acasualromance' the 47-year-old star wrote.
The series also stars Bret Gelman (Stranger Things), Arturo del Puerto (Fear the Walking Dead), Janicza Bravo (Love) and Duncan Joiner (Lethal Weapon).
'We love Jennifer's restraint and comedic timing, and we can’t wait for the warmth and intelligence she’ll bring to our central character, Kathryn,' Dunham and Konner said in a press release.
'It's truly a dream to have her first on our call sheet. Now we just have to write her some stunts.'
Meanwhile sources close to the actress have revealed that she wants the next person she dates to be 'in it for the long run'
A source told ET that the mother-of-three is in no rush to return to dating but will be very careful and selective when she does, because of the kids.
Meanwhile it's being claimed that when Jennifer, 45, is finally ready for romance she wants the next person she dates to be 'in it for the long run'
Taking her time: The star has been single since splitting from husband Ben Affleck in 2015
'Jen wants to make sure that when she finally does decide she is ready for romance that her next man is in it for the long run,' the source explains.
While she enjoys nights out with friends the source explained Jennifer is more focused on family, health and her career.
'She is back. She has thrown herself into her work and her success,' the source says. 'She is killing it and those [closest to her] couldn't be more proud.'
Jennifer co-parents her three children; Violet, 12, Seraphina, nine and Samuel, six, with estranged husband Ben Affleck who she split from in 2015.
Over the weekend the Love, Simon star flew out to Hawaii with the kids to visit Affleck on the set of his new Netflix movie Triple Frontier.
