Ten-thousand miles away from her Manhattan home and her castmates, Bethenny Frankel is finally enjoying some peace and quiet.

The Real Housewives Of New York City star touched down at Sydney airport on Saturday, looking relaxed despite revelations her castmates were talking behind her back at the show's season 10 premiere on Thursday.

The 47-year-old blended style and class in a leather jacket and sweatpants, happily stopping to interact with fans who had gathered to welcome her.

Bethenny wore a white T-shirt tucked into her grey pants, keeping a low profile in face-covering shades and a fedora.

She was seen walking through the arrivals terminal with a small backpack slung over one shoulder, and a white overnight bag over the other.

The Skinnygirl mogul was greeted by a small legion of devoted fans, and happily stopped to snap selfies.

After a particularly devoted fan asked her to sign his RHONY DVD and expressed his love for the show, she was escorted to the exit.

Bethenny is in Australia to promote the upcoming season's local premiere which airs on hayu and Foxtel.

Her arrival in Sydney also explains her absence from the official series launch party at Seville in The James Hotel on Thursday.

The remaining six leading ladies - Ramona Singer, Dorinda Medley, Luann de Lesseps, Carole Radziwill, Sonja Morgan and Tinsley Mortimer - were present.

Her ex-bestie Carole Radziwill spoke to Dailymail.com on the red carpet, shedding light on their surprising rift, which is set to play out during season ten.

'Bethenny and I have a few moments that are really uncomfortable and difficult,' Carole said.

'I've known her for three years, our friendship is a real friendship that was on lots of different levels and that's not over it's just changed a little bit.'

Co-star Ramona added: 'Bethenny is a wonderful person and she has a lot of great qualities but she is very difficult to maintain a friendship with.'
