Jonah Hill and Michael Cera have a Superbad reunion...11 years after cult classic hit theaters

Their film Superbad hit multiplexes 11 years ago.

And the winning chemistry that propelled the movie's success is apparently backed up by a real life friendship between Jonah Hill and Michael Cera.

The pair were pap-snapped this Thursday ambling down a Manhattan sidewalk together - 34-year-old Jonah enjoying a cigarette along the way.

Jonah, whose current trim frame is a far cry from his figure in Superbad, wrapped himself in a pink and sea green checked coat.

Meanwhile, Michael opted for a rather bulkier camel-colored anorak, shoving his hands in his pockets and slipping on black trousers.

The 29-year-old's beanie was bright orange, and he shielded his eyes from the rays in a pair of burgundy-rimmed trapezoidal sunglasses.

Superbad is a raucous comedy in which Jonah's Seth and Michael's Evan struggle to lose their respective virginities before they leave high school.

The cast includes Seth Rogen and Bill Hader as outwardly bumbling cops who are cleverer than they seem, as well as Emma Stone, who plays Seth's crush Jules.

Directed by Greg Mottolla and written by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, the film also starred Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Seth and Evan's pal Fogell.

Jonah happens to be the elder brother of Beanie Feldstein, who has herself become an actress, earning a major supporting role in last year's critical darling Lady Bird.

Their elder brother, Maroon 5 manager Jordan Feldstein, died at 40 this past December of what the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office called a 'pulmonary thromboembolism,' with 'deep leg vein thrombosis' as 'Cause B.'

'Acute bronchopneumonia' and 'obesity' were listed as 'Other Significant Causes.'
