Kylie Minogue channels country chic in denim dress, jacket and neckerchief as she arrives at her London gig... after revealing Dolly Parton inspired her new album

She recently revealed that her new album Golden was inspired by Dolly Parton, who she saw perform live two years ago.

And Kylie Minogue appeared to draw on country influences once again on Tuesday, as she arrived at her London gig in a cowgirl-inspired ensemble.

The Australian singer, 49, turned heads in a black denim corset dress, teamed with a denim jacket and neckerchief, as she headed to rehearsals for her upcoming live show at Cafe De Paris.

The blonde stood out from the crowds in the dark denim maxi dress, which buttoned all the way down the front and featured glitzy sequin lining on the bust and pockets.

Dressing down the daring garment, Kylie then layered a casual blue denim jacket on top, and tied the look together with a bright red neckerchief, to maintain the country feel.

She added height to her frame with lace-up boot heels, and accessorised with a sleek leather handbag, adorned with a yellow silk scarf, for a finishing touch of glamour.

Kylie is awaiting the release of her newest studio album Golden, which she recently revealed has a country feel, inspired by musical legend Dolly Parton.

Speaking on BBC Radio 2 last week, she explained she had a sort of epiphany after seeing the crooner, 72, perform at The Hollywood Bowl in 2016.

The Spinning Around singer said: ‘It’s taken me this long in my life to meet Dolly Parton live! All I can say is that it was like seeing the light.

'When I saw Dolly I hadn’t really thought about the current album and didn’t know it would have a country influence, and my takeaway was what a performer can do to you as an audience member.

'Just her connection and her human nature, her wit, her humour, she was just everything I had wished for.'

She's back: The new album is set for release next month, and will be followed by Kylie's first UK tour in three years, which travels to London, Newcastle, Liverpool and Birmingham

Golden is said to be one of the most personal albums to date for the singer, as it immediately followed her split from fiance Joshua Sasse.

Kylie started working on the record shortly after calling off their engagement and co-wrote all the songs, including lead single Dancing, which was released in January.
