MailOnline has contacted Jeremy's representatives for details of their son's injury.
Thoracic extensions and neck braces, such as the one worn by Finlo, are designed specifically by spine surgeons to treat cervical and high-thoracic injuries.
It's believed Finlo was wearing OrthoTape's Miami J Thoracic Extension, featuring a Floating Back which is designed without metal posterior uprights.
This is to ensure the patient will not apply force to the injured area while standing up or sitting down, as finlo demonstrated by the beach as he bent to sit on a sun lounger.
Along with two crutches, he wore the extension with the complementing neck brace, both of which he was seen removing at one time to apply sun protection.
