Patsy Palmer admits she home schools children Fenton, 17, and Emilia, 16, and doesn't care if they go to college
She's been showing her children the ropes as they navigate a career in the spotlight.
And Patsy Palmer has confessed that she's willing to do what it takes to help aspiring models, Fenton, 17, and Emilia, 16.
The former EastEnders star, 45, who has four children was joined by her middle two children as she spoke to iD magazine about their budding careers in the creative industry.
Family first: Patsy Palmer has confessed that she's willing to do what it takes to help her aspiring models, Fenton, 17, and Emilia, 16
She revealed that neither Fenton nor Emilia go to school, and instead study online in order to give them the flexibility to attend casting sessions and acting lessons.
Explaining that her children manage to get their work done in their unique system, she reasoned: 'They don't really like school anyway, I hated it when I was a kid, so I'm never going to push them.'
As Emilia said 'you don't need to go to college to have a good job,' Patsy agreed as she jumped in explaining 'They're very creative - I feel like there's a lot more they could be doing outside of school, anyway.'

Patsy certainly proves you don't have to attend college to succeed, having scooped a long-running role in EastEnders, parts in several dramas and releasing her own autobiography.
Patsy could soon be giving her children a taste of the limelight as there is hypothetical talk about doing a reality TV show - yet not one with 'horrible fighting like the Kardashians' the star reasoned.
'We could make it so funny, though,' quipped Fenton, as Emilia reasoned: 'They like to cause controversy, it's all so fake anyway.'

Patsy and her cab driver husband Richard Merkell moved across the pond to start a new life in Malibu, California, four years ago.
The pair share Fenton and Emilia, as well as son Bertie, seven.
Patsy also has son Charley Palmer Rothwell, 25 - a successful actor who has appeared in big-screen hits including Dunkirk and Darkest Hour, from a previous relationship.
One to watch: Patsy could soon be giving her children a taste of the limelight with hypothetical talk about doing a reality TV show - yet not one with 'horrible fighting like the Kardashians'
Speaking about her new life in April, Patsy told Loose Women: 'We just decided that we wanted to go. We said we either go now or we don't go. My kids are big tennis players and I wanted the outdoor life for them.
'We were nearly in Sydney ten years ago. I did a film there and I really wanted to stay there but we came back. My kids are really happy. It is a really beautiful life.'
Patsy now works as a DJ in LA, and confessed she enjoys the quieter lifestyle, as few people recognise her from the famous BBC soap in the US.
Hilarious: Fenton reasoned that they could make a reality series 'funny' if they were to do a fly on the wall series that didn't mimic the Kardashians style
She said on ITV's Lorraine last year: 'It was a little bit strange getting used to the idea you're not 'on show' everywhere you walk about, you don't have to be ready to speak to someone about Eastenders.
'You can go out and just completely be yourself, it's kind of weird, it is something you probably need therapy for, though I haven't gone down that route since I've been here but everyone does.'
She added that she doesn't miss crave a return to acting herself, saying: 'No I don't actually miss it. I'm not going to lie. I don't miss acting one bit.'
Success: Patsy's sons Charley, 25, and Fenton, work as actor models, while Emilia has just signed to a modelling agency. The star also has youngest son Bertie, seven
She also said it's unlikely she would ever crack out that silver padded jacket and return to EastEnders - however, she did not rule it out completely.
She said: 'I don't know. To be honest, I'd say never say never about anything. It was a big mistake if you say things like that but to be honest, I'm nearly 45.
'There's so much that you don't do when you're in Elstree for 20 years on and off.'
