Meghan Markle's on-screen relationship with Patrick J. Adams heated up on Wednesday's episode of Suits as they prepared for their wedding.

The 36-year-old actress after marrying Prince Harry likely will spend her days doing charity work and appearing at public engagements, but on Suits her options were wide open.

Markle's character Rachel Zane was planning her future with her fiancé Mike Ross, played by Adams.

The couple played a game called 'bulls***' where they speculated about how their marriage would pan out.

'I don't want to play,' he said initially.

'Yes you do,' she urged, tapping their bed.

'Ok, we live in San Diego…we surf every morning, work two hours a day and love each other all night,' he suggested.

The show titled Inevitable, the 13th episode of the seventh season, was building tension toward the two-part season finale.

Harvey Specter [Gabriel Macht] dumped his girlfriend and former therapist Paula Agard [Christina Cole] to protect Donna.

Meanwhile, Louis [Rick Hoffman] was enjoying his secret affair with with his ex-fiancée Sheila Sazs [Rachael Harris].

They played out a sexual fantasy - in which Sheila was a burglar and Louis was the victim of a home invasion.

Louis' shrewd secretary Gretchen [Aloma Wright] was onto him.

Louis later barged into Sheila's office, while she was with her new fiancé.

Rachel urged Mike to complete a 'couples questionnaire' to discover if they wanted the same things from life.

'I promise to have it filled out by tonight,' he replied.

He failed to keep his promise.

'I don't know what I want, I'm not a planner,' he said.

'I love being locked into you,' Mike told her, before they hastily reconciled.

Teddy [Michael Reilly Burke] returned, and asked Harvey to help him save his old company.

Harvey said they 'didn't have a legal leg to stand on', but Teddy was insistent.

Mike came up with a plan to try and save the business, but Kurt Baxter [Jeff Roop] wasn't having it.

'I didn't think the mighty Harvey Specter was going to come down here groveling for a few jobs,' he spat.

Harvey suggested getting stock market trader Stu [Ian Reed Kesler] to force down the value of the company.

'It's not illegal, it's a civil violation, all we have to do is convince Stu,' he decided.

'If anybody can convince Stu it's me,' said Donna [Sarah Rafferty] who went to give Stu the hard sell.

Harvey's mother Lily [Brynn Thayer] made an impromptu visit, so he invited her to dinner with Paula.

Lily put her foot in her mouth by attributing her reconciliation with Harvey to a 'special person in his life' in reference to Donna.

'I am not the special person that Harvey was talking about,' scowled Paula.

At home Paula gave Harvey an ultimatum: 'I'm afraid, that if you keep working with Donna we won't survive, it feels like there are three people in this relationship'.

On Harvey's request Stu offered Donna a job.

Donna then tearfully apologized to Paula, who insisted she must leave the firm.

The show ended with Donna resigning and Harvey rushing over to see Paula.

He then ripped up Donna's resignation letter in front of her.

A teaser for next week showed Harvey speculating about Donna being 'the one' and Louis exploding in front of Sheila's fiancé yelling: 'I'm the one she needs'.
