But Leonardo DiCaprio failed at his attempts to go unnoticed as he partied with his rumoured new girlfriend Camila Morrone, 20, at Levi’s Brand Presents Neon Carnival with Tequila Don Julio ,California on Saturday.

The celebrated actor, 43, tried to go incognito in a pair of shiny silver "Hi-Lites" analog special effects sunglasses that are activated by lights. The pair Leo is wearing in this picture turned every light into a smiley face, and other pairs create effects like hearts, stars or custom shapes and logos.

While rumoured love Camila, who is Al Pacino's step-daughter, lovingly placed her arms on his shoulders during the music festival, Leo did his best to blend in with his comfortable duds and gold chain.

But unfortunately for The Revenant star, the disguise was not enough to stop photographers spotting him, with his signature scruff along his rounded jaw being a huge giveaway.

Despite his failed attempts to go under the radar, Leo appeared in good spirits with his potential new flame and her friend during the festivities.

Later in the evening, Camila looked completely smitten with her A-List beau, and was also spotted affectionately feeding Leo some pizza at the VIP party.

The Argentinian model donned a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball cap for day two of Coachella's three day lineup.

She paired the accessory with a black top, silver hoop earrings and a denim jacket with fur lining.

Earlier in the day, Leo waded into potentially troubled waters by stopping by Rihanna's FentyxPuma party with Camila.
