David Copperfield testifies in MGM Grand tourist injury case

David Copperfield, appearing in court in Las Vegas (top left), didn't acknowledge responsibility for injuries British man Gavin Cox (bottom left) claims to have suffered when he fell during the illusion (right) in 2013. But the celebrated magician did say it might be his fault if an audience volunteer who was participating in a trick got hurt. Cox, from Kent, claims lasting brain and body injuries and more than $400,000 in medical expenses. The court has heard how practiced stagehands with flashlights hurried randomly chosen participants through dark curtains, down unfamiliar passageways, around corners, outdoors, indoors and through an MGM Grand resort kitchen in time to re-enter the back of the theater for their 'reappearance' during the show finale.

'It didn't hit me what was going on until I was handcuffed': Black men arrested at Starbucks break their silence about their confusion and anger over 'racist' incident

Rashon Nelson (left) and Donte Robinson (right) were arrested at a Philadelphia Starbucks last week when a manager called to complain about them loitering. Video went viral of the two men being put in handcuffs as customers told officers that they had done nothing wrong. On Thursday, the two men broke their silence to give their side of the story in interviews with Good Morning America and the Associated Press. Nelson and Robinson, friends since fourth grade, said they arrived to the Starbucks 10 minutes before a 4:45pm business meeting. As soon as they got there, Nelson asked the use the restroom but was told  it was for paying customers only. They took their seats and the manager came up to them, asking if she could get them any drinks but they declined, saying they were waiting for someone. 911 calls show the manager called police about two minutes after they arrived, saying 'they are refusing to make a purchase'. Nelson and Robinson say they were shocked when officers arrived at the cafe, since they weren't explicitly told to leave. The two were taken into custody but later released without being charged. They are now in 'mediation' with Starbucks, to make sure a similar incident doesn't happen again.

LeBron James defends reporter who asked him about the passing of Spurs coach Gregg Popovich's wife after she's accused of blindsiding Cavs star

LeBron James (left) insists he was not blindsided by a sideline reporter's question about the passing of Erin Popovich, the wife of long-time San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich (inset), in the immediate aftermath of the Cleveland Cavaliers' playoff win on Wednesday night. Social media erupted after TNT's Allie LaForce (right) seemingly caught the Cavs star off guard by asking about the death of Erin, who passed away Wednesday at 67 after a lengthy battle with an undisclosed illness. However, hours after the Cavaliers tied their first-round series against Indiana with a Game 2 win, James corrected the masses, explaining that he had been prepared for the question. 'A lot of people think I was blindsided,' James said in a video on his website, Uninterrupted . 'That is absolutely false. Allie LaForce told me she was going to ask me the question and if it was OK.' Erin Popovich's death was not announced until after the Cavaliers' game had begun, and since James initially appeared stunned by such a serious question after a major victory, many mistakenly interpreted his brief silence as surprise. One Twitter user likened LaForce's question to Jacqueline Kennedy being interrogated in the immediate aftermath of her husband John's assassination in 1963, while others just offered disbelief: 'Can't believe they just had Allie LaForce break the Pop's wife news to Lebron postgame... TNT clearly just wanted their quote.'

The wife of San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich has died. The Spurs confirmed Erin Popovich's (pictured together) death Wednesday. No further details were provided.

Equalution's superfood meals contains MORE calories than fast foods, including McDonald's
