Jesse Plemons is set to play villain alongside Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt on Disney's Jungle Cruise
Jesse Plemons is heading up river with Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt in Disney’s The Jungle Cruise.
The 30-year-old will play one of the film’s villains, according to Variety.
As previously announced, Edgar Ramirez, 41, and Jack Whitehall, 29, are also on board.

Jaume Collet-Serra is directing the movie based on the classic theme park attraction, which operates in several Disney Parks across the globe.
It takes guests on a guided tour along the rivers of the world.
Disney plans to develop the film as a possible franchise in the vein of its billion-dollar Pirates Of The Caribbean series starring Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow.
Dwayne, 45, is among the producers of the film, via his Seven Bucks, which is slated to begin production in May.

He and Seven Bucks partner Dany Garcia are hot off the success of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, which also starred Dwayne.
The movie has grossed almost $1 billion worldwide, including nearly $404 million at the domestic box office.
Jesse, who is expecting his first child with fiance Kirsten Dunst, 35, most recently appeared in comedy mystery Game Night in February and before that, he was in western thriller Hostiles.

The couple met on the set of the TV version of Fargo in 2015.
Jesse's other credits included Steven Spielberg’s The Post and Tom Cruise pic American Made.
He also has comedy drama The Bell Jar in pre-production and director Martin Scorsese's The Irishman, co-starring Robert De Niro and Al Pacino, in post for 2019.
