Newnan, which is about 40 miles west of the state's capital, permitted the National Socialist Movement to host a rally from 3 to 5pm on Saturday to celebrate Adolph Hitler's birthday.

Melania Trump thanked Texas law enforcement for keeping everyone safe as they traveled to Houston to say their final goodbyes to Barbara Bush. who was laid to rest in an emotional ceremony on Saturday. The first lady took to Instagram to share a photo of her posing with dozens of officers and military personnel, writing in the caption: 'Thank you to Texas law enforcement for ensuring the safety of everyone today'. Trump, who attended the services without husband President Donald Trump, also posted a photo from the order of service. 'It was my honor to travel to Houston to give my respects to Barbara Bush and the remarkable life she led as a mother, wife, and fearless First Lady,' she wrote.

One of only two women in the history of the United States to have bother her husband and son elected president will be laid to rest on Saturday in Texas. The funeral of Barbara Bush will be held a small and private affair, with the ceremony set to begin around 11am at St. Martin's Episcopal Church in Houston. Among those in attendance with be her husband of 73 years and the 41st president of the United States George H. W. Bush, her oldest son and the 43rd president of the United States George W. Bush and current first lady Melania Trump. Three eulogies will be delivered during the service from Mrs. Bush's close friend Susan Baker, presidential historian Jon Meacham and her son and former Florida governor Jeb Bush.

Suspect Florida gunman Sky Bouche, 19, made his first court appearance Saturday and was denied bail due to the nature of his charges that span terrorism and aggravated assault with a firearm. On Friday he went to his old school and opened fire, injuring a 17-year-old student. He surrendered to one of his former teachers and said he wanted to be jailed and 'I am mentally ill'. A detective report reveals that he said he wanted to 'inflict fear in students' but he did not intend to kill anyone. He is due back in court on May 22.

Pippa Middleton is pregnant, it has been reported. The younger sister of the Duchess of Cambridge and her husband James Matthews are said to be expecting their first child.  She reportedly had a 12-week scan last week and have apparently revealed the news to family and friends. The couple, who married last year, are said to be 'overjoyed'. The Duchess of Cambridge 'could not have been more delighted' when she heard the news, it is reported. It comes after a tough few weeks for the family following allegations of rape against her father-in-law David Matthews. He strenuously denies them, calling the claims 'untrue and scandalous'.

Queen Elizabeth II is marking her 92nd birthday with a Saturday night concert in London featuring British singers such as Sting, Tom Jones and Jamie Cullum. Kylie Minogue, Shaggy and Craig David also are set to perform for the 'Queen's Birthday Party' at Royal Albert Hall.  Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were among the first to be pictured arriving at the London venue this evening. Earlier in the day, honorary gun salutes were staged in Hyde Park, the Tower of London and in Windsor to mark the occasion.

'Donald is going to be 74, 73 for the next [election] and maybe he should just go and play golf and enjoy his fortune,' Ivanka, 69, said. 'I don't think its necessary.' She also revealed it was her who told Trump about his daughter-in-law's fining for divorce from Donald, Jr in March. '[The cheating was] a long time ago now, so I think Vanessa knew it all along and maybe she just couldn’t get over the hurt to forgive him,' Ivana said, of allegations that her son cheated on his wife Vanessa (pictured together right) with Aubrey O'Day while she was a contestant on The Celebrity Apprentice. 'But I honestly don’t know that many men who can keep their zippers up,' she added, noting that the news struck a chord with her, as she found out Trump (inset) cheated on her from a New York Post columnist at a party.

Verne Troyer, actor who played Mini-Me in the Austin Powers films, dies aged 49. His family announced on his personal Facebook Saturday afternoon that he died. 'It is with great sadness and incredibly heavy hearts to write that Verne passed away today', they said. His death comes after earlier this month he was rushed to the emergency room when his friend called 911 saying the actor was 'drunk and suicidal'. The actor then got his big break in show business when he was cast in Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me in 1999 as Mini-Me.

'I love the way Candace Owens thinks,' he said on Saturday morning (inset). Conservative figures like Roseanne Barr took to the social media site to give their support for the pairing. Bristol Palin and husband Dakota Meyer are seemingly giving their marriage another shot. The couple, who wed in 2016 and have two daughters together, look to have reconciled - just three months after Meyer filed for divorce. Prince's original studio recording of 'Nothing Compares 2 U' was recorded in 1984 at Flying Cloud Drive in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, according to his estate. The musician originally wrote the song for himself but was then gave it to the Family, the jazz-funk band he put together in the 80s. His estate released the track from the artist's vault which contains thousands of recordings that were never released. Included in the video release was footage from Prince and The Revolution that summer.

Danny Farquhar, 31, got two outs in the top of the sixth on Friday night against Houston, and fainted moments later after returning to the dugout at Guaranteed Rate Field in Chicago. The son of a woman murdered in 1990 by a clown in the doorway of her Florida home describes the terror he felt that day, after police say they have caught the killer. Marlene Warren (right) was 40 when she was shot dead. When she first answered the door, was excited to see the colorful clown with flowers and balloons, but then she saw the gun.  'Oh how pretty,' John Ahrens (left) told 48Hours, he heard his mother say on that fateful day in May. Then he heard a bang. Just hours before the shooting, officers received an anonymous tip from a female caller urging them to look into Warren's husband. That tipster also mentioned Mike's employee, Sheila Keen (inset) now 54-years-old.

Sanctuary cruises in Monterey Bay, California, witnessed the attack Wednesday. A hunting pod of at least four orcas separated the two gray whales from each other. Once the mother whale was away for her baby, the orcas ate the calf for food. Orca whales, also known as killer whales, are some of the most dangerous predators to roam the ocean. The whales can weight up to 11 tons and sports a mouth full of dangerously sharp teeth.

NASA has spotted mysterious circles in the Arctic Sea during their annual flights over the earth's polar regions. Operation IceBridge is currently on its tenth year making the flights over the poles, which are made in an effort to map the regions' land and sea ice and predict its response to climate change. While flying over the eastern Beaufort Sea on April 14, scientist John Sonntag noticed there was something on the ice he had never seen before and took a photo from the window of the P-3 research plane. The circles were spotted about 50 miles northwest of Canada's Mackenzie River Delta, according to NASA. IceBridge project scientist Nathan Kurtz said the image shows an area of thin ice because you can see finger rafting near the holes and the gray color, which indicates little snow cover. Kurtz said he's never seen anything like the circles in the ice and isn't sure what could cause the semi-circle shaped features surrounding the holes. One of NASA's theories is that seals gnawed out the holes to make space so they can surface. Another possibility is the holes were caused by convection.

When their new dog ran off at the start of a walk, the Campbell family hoped catching him would be a quick and easy enough task. Seven months on, the hunt for their runaway pet has become a quest of epic proportions involving everything from remote wildlife cameras to traps baited with sardines and old T-shirts. The Campbells rehomed the German shepherd cross – calling him Drogo after a character in TV’s Game of Thrones – from a rescue center in Bosnia last year after seeing an advertisement online. The year-old dog went to live with them on the Isle of Arran, Scotland, but escaped from their car in September.

These stunning photos show eight thousand people who claim to have taking part in a world-record breaking display of taekwondo (pictured left and right) that smashed the previous record. The photos were taken in Seoul, South Korea and show eight thousands enthusiasts performing a series of synchronised moves.  The participants are a range of ages and seem to incorporate both experienced practitioners and young children new to taekwondo, while air aerobics teams flew overhead in celebration.
