The pair were pictured heading to London's Groucho club on Saturday and he is now revealed to be opera singer David Webb.

The Sun reports that David is a singer who recently appeared in Aida at the National Opera and used to perform in classical music group Amore.

He also trained at the Royal College of Music, and he and Karen both follow each other on Instagram.

Karen appeared close to her male friend, seemingly hugging him before walking alongside her dashing companion.

The ballroom pro appeared to wrap her arm around his neck for a close moment before heading off with her friendship group.

Karen has faced speculation she faces the axe from BBC's Strictly Come Dancing due to her reported 'confrontational' behaviour.

Sources told The Mirror that Karen't participation in the next season is 'in doubt', but Kevin's future on the show remains in tact.

They told the paper: 'Karen's participation next series is in doubt. But Kevin is safe. He is loved by everyone.'

They added: 'Feelings are mixed on Karen. They don't want the show to be associated with the negative publicity generated by her actions.'

However, sources told The Sun at the time, that BBC bosses may have saved Karen in last minute talks despite the impeding marital problems after choosing to axe veteran pro Brendan Cole earlier in the year.

Karen and Kevin are said to be heading their separate ways a mere two months after dance professional Karen allegedly had an affair with an accountant.

Speaking of the impending divorce, a source told the publication: 'Karen is extremely upset about the whole situation and is really struggling to accept that everything is over.

'She has been pleading with Kevin to give things another go but he's made it clear that he's not interested and doesn't want them to patch things up.'

The Insider continued: 'She knows that she made a huge mistake by having a brief affair but there were problems in their marriage way before then.'

Reports added that Kevin was the 'driving force' behind them getting a divorce and 'isn't too fussed' about it given that it is his second martial breakdown.
