Rami Malek 'dating' Lucy Boynton after playing lovers in Bohemian Rhapsody movie

And it seems life is imitating art as 36-year-old Rami Malek and his co-star Lucy Boynton, 24, are now dating.

'They met while filming in London,' an insider dished to Us Weekly on Tuesday.

The Egyptian-American actor plays Freddie Mercury, the frontman of Queen, which released the now iconic rock-opera-style Bohemian Rhapsody in 1975.

Lucy, who was born in NYC but grew up in London, plays Mercury’s muse Mary Austin in the biopic.

Mary and Freddie had a serious relationship in the 1970s and she is said to have inspired Queen's 1975 hit Love Of My Life.

Meanwhile, the source said of Rami and Lucy, 'He is so into her. He goes and visits her in London all the time.'

The couple are frequently seen together but had not come out about their relationship.

They had front row seats for Miu Miu's Paris Week fashion show in March and they appeared together at an event in Minneapolis in February.

Rami was previously connected to his Mr. Robot co-star Portia Doubleday, though they split in 2017.

He opened up about his role as Mercury in a September interview with Entertainment Weekly  where he dished on playing the rocker who died in 1991 at the age of 45 due to complications from AIDS.

'When you’re able to open your eyes and see a different person staring back at you in the mirror, it’s a very affirming moment,' Rami said of how he felt the first time he saw himself in full character.

The hair and makeup 'only adds to the level of confidence that one would need to play Freddie Mercury,' he noted.

Bohemian Rhapsody is due out on November 2.
