The 34-year-old actress flaunted her famous curves wearing a figure-hugging red dress before getting in a quick cuddle backstage at The Chew with her adorable pet chihuahuas Larry and Wilmer.

Katharine's slender waistline was on display in the tight and vibrant red frock which featured long sleeves.

Rows of cloth buttons lined her arms and shoulders, with exposed eyelets along the hem of the knee-high dress.

Her tanned legs peeked from underneath the garment, adding length to her statuesque form with a pair of strappy black heels.

The American Idol alum wore her caramel-colored hair in messy waves, with tendrils resting across her shoulders.

Her makeup was flawless with just a touch of highlight across her cheeks and dark brown liner along her eyes.

She went public with her relationship last year with musician David Foster, despite their 34 year age difference, and have been inseparable ever since.

Based on the 2007 film and with a book by Jessie Nelson, Waitress tells the story of a Southern diner employee who dreams of escaping her abusive marriage by channeling her passions into her inventive pies — and an affair with a new-to-town doctor, according to Playbill.com.

McPhee stepped into the role of Jenna, taking over from understudy Stephanie Torns who was filling in after Sara Bareilles took her final bow last month.

The singer is scheduled to star in the role until June 17.
