'ITV hasn't seen that much sexual chemistry since the Trump-Morgan interview'
From the outset Jack mocked Man’s Not Hot rapper Big Shaq in a pre-filmed skit, making his arrival on stage clad in a humorously oversized padded jacket.
Later, Arsenal fan Jack mocked Tottenham player Harry Kane as he arrived to present an award with singer Camila Cabello, saying: 'Our next presenter is a Tottenham striker… meaning the Brit Award he hands out tonight will probably be the only trophy he gets his hands on this season.'
A loved-up Liam Payne and Cheryl were also not immune to Jack's jokes, as he sought them out in the audience, asking them about their 'safe word' and making numerous jokes about their sex life.
Later in the show as Rita Ora and Liam took to the stage to perform a rendition of their Fifty Shades Freed hit For You, Jack joked: 'ITV hasn't seen that much sexual chemistry since the Trump-Morgan interview.'
Despite Jack's 'savage' mockery of some stars, one eagle-eyed fan noticed the comedian censor one his jokes at the expense of singer Rag'n'Bone man.
The audience spectator tweeted that Jack changed one of his jokes at the last minute to something more subdued, with the line not matching up to what was on the auto-cue.
They wrote: 'I can see Jack Whitehall's auto-cue from my seat. It said Rag'n'Bone Man has 'the beard of a hate cleric' but he changed it to 'wizard.'
Several other fans also spotted Jack celebrating his successful debut a little bit earlier than expected, as he held a bottle of beer behind his back during one of his final deliveries to the camera.
