Entourage creator Doug Ellin splits from third wife Andy Adler after less than a year of marriage

Entourage creator Doug Ellin and wife, New York-based broadcaster Andy Adler, have split after less than a year of marriage.

Adler sought to split with him in a quiet manner, and was taken aback when the details of their recent divorce filings were made public.

Ellin, a 50-year-old Brooklyn native, filed for divorce from Adler in Los Angeles, claiming 'irreconcilable differences' in the parting.

'Andy wanted to file for divorce several months ago but was hoping they would find a way to dissolve the marriage mutually and out of the public eye,' an insider close to the couple said. 'She is a very private person and never intended for her relationship, or it’s dissolution, to become public fodder.'

Ellin and Adler became engaged last April 30 while vacationing in New Orleans, according to the outlet.

Ellin tied the knot with Adler last September and cited last Friday as their separation date, according to the outlet.

Neither Ellin or Adler, a sportscaster for WPIX, are seeking spousal support in their split, according to TMZ.

Ellin last May told Page Six he and Adler first crossed paths in 2015, and he contacted her early last year on a lark.

'I reached out to Andy and I said, "I don’t know your life situation, but I’d love to meet you,"' he told the paper. 'Thankfully, she was open to meeting me. We spoke on the phone for three weeks, then I went to New York, and since then it’s been a whirlwind.
