Prosecutors in Metz, France, believe John Patterson (inset), originally from Coventry, might have taken his three-year-old twin daughters from his home in the French city back to Britain. Mr Patterson, 46, disappeared with the two children, Ava an Mia (left), after splitting from their mother, Aleksandra Pietrasiewicz (right), 32. Searches have taken places around Mr Patterson's flat in Metz, but there has been no sign of him. The professional photographer's mobile phone has been disconnected, and he has shut down all social media accounts. Ms Pietrasiewicz has set up a Facebook page showing pictures of her girls, and Mr Patterson, and is now urging people to watch out for them.
