She has launched both her bridal line and received a lawsuit within in one week.

And on Friday, Sarah Jessica Parker chose to put her best foot forward, as she stepped out at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival in New York.

The Sex and the City star was there to share her career story as part of Tribeca Talks: Sarah Jessica Parker - The Journey.

The actress chose a casual, gray look for her evening out. Sarah paired a long-sleeve button-up with a set of skinny jeans.

The mother-of-three added a pair of trendy, black sock boots to her look, and accessorized with delicate jewelry.

The pretty blonde was seen carrying a backpack by event sponsor Tumi, as well as a book.

This week appears to have had its ups and downs for Sarah.

On Monday, the Ohio native celebrated the creation of her GILT SJP bridal collection, which officially launched the following day.

Then star already had her own shoe line, but unveiled a line of weddings gowns that could easily be worn for any formal occasion.

Following her successful launch, the Divorce star was hit with a lawsuit by Kat Florence Design Limited.

The company alleges that Sarah was signed to a$7.5 million deal, and did not come through with her commitments, Page Six reported.

'In exchange for significant compensation, Ms. Parker agreed to personally commit her time, efforts, likeness, personal presence, and energies to the line of jewelry. As alleged in the lawsuit, based on her actions, it was clear that this commitment was not made as other endeavors created what appeared to be a labyrinth of time-consuming activities other then what was set forth in the agreement,' the jewlrey company wrote in a statement to the news outlet.

The jewelry brand also alleged that Sarah caused 'a significant financial loss to the company.'

In fact Ms. Parker failed to comply with several crucial points in relation to the presence of shop openings, as well as attendance to the launch of the collection bearing her own initials ‘SJP’. Her failure to attend rendered the operation meaningless as you cannot have an ‘SJP’ launch without ‘SJP’.”

Meanwhile, a rep for Sarah said 'that the actress fulfilled her end of the bargain and is entitled to the rest of the money they agreed to under the contract.'

It all comes as Sarah's former Sex And The City co-star Cynthia Nixon is running for governor of New York.

The actress said she knew a month before Cynthia made the announcement.

'She shared with me that she was going to announce about a month before. I was incredibly excited and proud of her. I think she’s already been good for the conversation,' she told EW.com.
