The Voice: Kelly Clarkson admits to singer envy after Kyla Jade blows roof off as final 11 perform

Kelly Clarkson had some serious singer envy on The Voice on Monday night after she watched powerhouse singer Kyla Jade blow the roof off.

Kyla belted out Aretha Franklin's 1968 track (Sweet Sweet Baby) Since You've Been Gone, leaving the panel in awe.

'I can't take you Kyla, you are phenomenal,' Alicia Keys told the 33-year-old Tennessee singer who is part of Blake Shelton's team.

'Why are you on his team?' asked 36-year-old Kelly, who was also a Kyla super-fan.

The performance was part of season 14's top 11 Fan Night where the viewers chose the songs for the contestants.

Teenage singer Britton Buchanan, 18, dedicated Ed Sheeran's love song Perfect to his girlfriend Livia Faith, whom he met during the blind auditions.

'Congratulations, you murdered it,' said his coach Alicia, who was also Livia's coach before she was eliminated.

Another strong performance came from 'America's save' singer Rayshun LaMarr, with Try A Little Tenderness by Otis Reading.

'I think this optimizes who Rayshun is,' said his coach, Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine.

The judges and crowd went wild for Rayshun, who is a 33-year-old cancer survivor from Maryland.

Team Blake's raspy 35-year-old California singer Pryor Baird sang Night Moves by Bob Seger.

'I felt the softer side of Pryor,' smiled Blake.

Next was Team Adam's Iowa singer Sharane Calister with Mariah Carey's difficult song Hero.

'I feel such a connection to you, on so many levels,' Alicia told the 24-year-old contestant.

Team Kelly's 31-year-old Florida singer Kaleb Lee sang Travis Tritt's T-R-O-U-B-L-E.

'It was all I could do to sit here and not run up there to jam with you,' said Blake, Kaleb's former coach.

'Killer job man, nailed it,' exclaimed Kelly.

Alicia's 21-year-old Boston rocker Jackie Foster did a version of The Who's Love, Reign O'er Me.

'It's unbelievable how she's owning this song,' said Alicia in rehearsals.

Adam agreed, saying: 'That was yours, you're amazing!'

One singer will be eliminated on Tuesday on The Voice on NBC.
