The brainchild of an avid McDonald's fan in Melbourne, Facebook group Homemade McDonald's now has almost 6,000 members working together to crack the chain's secrets using supermarket ingredients. The mother who was found passed out at the wheel of her car after drinking two casks of wine says the reason for her excessive drinking was stressful motherhood.  Police found Susan Lung, 42, asleep at the wheel of her Audi in Sydney's North Shore in November last year where she blew 0.445 - nearly nine times over the legal limit.  She was let off serious drink driving charges because police were unable to prove she had driven in the previous two hours.

Treasurer Scott Morrison recently announced the Federal government will scrap a planned $8 billion increase in the Medicare Levy. A woman traveling with her family on a Carnival Cruise Line ship said they had to spend the night on yoga mats in the spa room after a break in the liner's fire suppression system dumped gallons of water into the hallway. Passenger Marla Haase posted about the nightmare on her Facebook page Thursday night asking people to 'pray for us all'. 'Um.... FB folks... this is a rare moment of internet connection... we are flooding on a cruise,' she posted including a photos of a flooded hallway and a video showing water pouring from the walls The incident happened on day five of a seven-day trip to the Western Caribbean. Mark 'Bomber' Thompson has been dating a deported Thai woman, it has been revealed.  Rachanai Sarach has said she is in love with the former AFL star and that she wants to marry him. The pair got to know each other in Melbourne last year but she was deported from Australia on January 3. 'Mark very good for me,' Ms Sarach said. Asked if she wants to get married to him, she replied: 'Yeah, I what (want).'

Tami Oldham Ashcraft and her British fiance, Richard Sharp had planned to sail from Tahiti to California on board the 44ft yacht Hazana when it was hit by a Hurricane Raymond in September 1983. Mr Sharp spotted the wave which would almost destroy the boat and ordered Tami below decks. When she awoke more than 20 hours later after being concussed, she could not find Mr Sharp, who had been washed overboard and was presumed dead. Tami managed to navigate the crippled vessel to Hawaii despite most of the ship's equipment being destroyed.

It appears that even dogs don't like going to the doctor's office as one scared pooch shows in a video uploaded to the internet. In a clip shared by Arizona native Joshua Snelling, his dog can be seen completely frozen on a examination table. 'This is my dog at the vet, this is what he does... he's scared as hell,'  Snelling can be heard saying in the video. 'He won't move a muscle, like seriously... It's like he's stuffed, like he's not even real. You should see when he gets the thermometer up his butt, he does the same thing.' Snelling, a railway engineer based out Phoenix, says that it's the 'weirdest thing' while his dog appears frozen in motion.

Activists took to the streets of Tel Aviv, Israel, in a so-called 'Slut Walk' to speak up for women's rights and assert their right to wear what they choose without being blamed for sexual crimes against them. The global Slut Walk movement was sparked in Canada in 2011 after a police officer caused outrage during a speech to university students by stating that 'women should avoid dressing like sluts in order not to be victimised'. A Florida woman caught the moment a huge alligator barreled through a barbed wire fence as if it was no big deal. Teasia Warner, 25, of Mulberry, Florida, was in a car with her mother, Laurea Warner, when they came across the shocking sight on the way to church. In the clip, which Teasia posted on Facebook on April 30 with the hashtag #onlyinflorida, a 15-foot-long alligator can be seen moseying along on the grass by the side of the road as it approaches a barbed wire fence. 'Good God, almighty,' Laurea exclaims as they drive past the gator.
