'My friend Adam just happened to be in town doing sellout concerts with Queen,' George told his team members.
'He knows what (you) are going through because he's been in a similar situation,' he added, addressing his 12 hopefuls.
Adam had some advice for the contestants, with the unique artists encouraging everyone to just be themselves.
The singer has gone from strength to strength since his own run on a singing competition reality show.
