She has been busy dipping her toes into the acting world. 

And Emily Ratajkowski can be seen lending her skills to the upcoming movie In Darkness alongside Natalie Dormer, which promises explosive drama, action and high-suspense.

The model, 27, takes on the role of glamorous, yet mysterious Veronique whose murder sends the woman downstairs (Dormer) on a wild ride to crack the case.

In Darkness revolves around a blind musician who hears a murder committed in the apartment above hers.

The gritty realisation sends her down a dark path into London's gritty criminal underworld, according to IMDB

However, the union is cut short as Emily is found dead, with officials ruling it as a suicide.

In Darkness has been in production for several years with Natalie and her fiance Anthony Byrne working on the screenplay together and also producing.

In August 2016, Natalie spoke about the project to People and said it had been a learning experience.

'It’s tough!' she said about working with her fiance on the project. 'I don’t know if you’ve ever been in a writing room but I wouldn’t recommend it with your other half,' she added,

But she was nevertheless thrilled to be taking on something that she had had a hand in creating and over which she had some control.

'I’m very excited about it because I’ve never done anything that I’ve written before. It was a very interesting process – we were trying to write real interesting characters, both male and female,' she noted. 

In Darkness is set for UK release on June 26.
