Nicole Kidman, 50, signs big TV and movie production deal with Amazon after success of Big Little Lies
Amazon Studios says it's signed a deal with Nicole Kidman and her production company for TV and movie projects.
Under the 'first-look' deal, Amazon and Kidman's Blossom Films will develop original series for Amazon Prime Video and big-screen films, it was announced on Thursday.
'I'm excited to start working with Jen Salke and the Amazon team,' said Kidman. 'Our goal at Blossom Films is to create important and entertaining content across multiple platforms, and I can't think of better collaborators with which to accomplish this.'

In a statement Thursday, Amazon Studios head Jennifer Salke called Kidman 'a force of nature' as an actress and a producer.
Blossom Films, founded by Kidman and Per Saari, produced the Emmy-winning series Big Little Lies for HBO with Reese Witherspoon and Bruna Papandrea.
Blossom Films is also adapting Liane Moriarty's novel Truly Madly Guilty into a limited series.

Big Little Lies is currently in production on season two for HBO.
Blossom's next project is David E. Kelley's limited series The Undoing for HBO, which will go into production in 2019 and star Kidman.
Amazon is striking deals with other prominent Hollywood figures, including Get Out filmmaker Jordan Peele.
Another major streaming service, Netflix, has landed top producers Ryan Murphy (American Horror Story) and Shonda Rhimes (Scandal).
This comes the same day that Nicole was seen on the cover of Entertainment Weekly to promote Aquaman.
In the film - due out in December - she plays Queen Atlanna.
