A Long Island man was arrested for shoving a 12-year-old boy to the ground after he caught the kid recording the man's wife on a cellphone. The boy, Alex Anderson, said he and some friends were riding their bikes on Tuesday in Dix Hills, Long island when the noticed a woman in a black SUV recording them with her cellphone as she drove behind them. Anderson said he and another boy pulled out their phones and started taking video of the woman. In the clip, Anderson is seen walking around the woman's car getting video of the vehicle and license plate. Out of nowhere the woman's husband, William Conte, charges the boy shoving him to the ground. As the kid screams for help, Conte grabs the kid's cellphone and smashes it on the ground.Anderson suffered head injuries and has a cast on his arm and bandages around his ankle.

A Georgia grandmother won a life and death battle against rabid bobcat earlier this month when she killed the animal with her bare hands after it attacked her in the backyard of her home. Hart Country resident DeDe Phillips told the Anthens Banner-Herald on Thursday that the will to survive helped her overcome the ferocious predator threatening her life. 'I thought, 'Not today.' There was no way I was going to die,' Phillips recalled while detailing the June 7 attack. 'I'm very lucky,' the 46-year-old added.

 President Donald Trump has released a series of photographs of himself at the G7 Summit in Canada last week showing he had a 'great relationship' with the other world leaders. Taking to Twitter on Friday evening, he said the picture of himself sitting at a table with the other summit leaders surrounding him and looking angry had been taken out of context, and the pair were simply negotiating. 'I have a great relationship with Angela Merkel of Germany, but the fake news media only shows the bad photos (implying anger) of negotiating an agreement,' he wrote. 'I am asking for things that no other American President would ask for!'

A video posted on Wednesday by Carle Wheeler shows the woman, her mother and daughter in pure disbelief at the audacity of the man while at the Westin Hotel in Pasadena, California. 'The man asked if me and my little girl had showered before getting into the pool because people carry diseases into the pools and he doesn't want the health department to shut the pool down,' Wheeler (inset) said in the video caption.

A stunning exhibit of New York's cartographic history is currently being displayed at the New York Public Library. Police in Santa Ana California are looking for the driver of a white van that hit a local grandmother in the crosswalk and then sped off. Maria Gonzalez, 63, said that she was in the crosswalk and had ten seconds left on her green light.  As the video shows the van as it comes up, to the light and seems to slow down before it  hits her, knocking her to the ground. 'I go down, my face in the floor,' she said,  describing the moment of impact.

A 17-year-old Texas boy shot his friend in the face while playing a game that has gone viral on social media. Raul Garcia Jr. called 911 just after 5.30 on Sunday to report his friend had been shot and he was driving him to hospital. Garcia and his victim, a 16-year-old boy, had been playing 'You Lackin', police say. In the game, one person points a gun at the other and asks 'You Lackin?' The other person in turn pulls a gun out, points it back and says 'No'. Police believe the pair had purchased the guns by trading marijuana for them.

Two Santa Clara County California women, who called themselves 'sexual deviants' were arrested Thursday.  They are alleged to have had sex with teenage boys. After a months long investigation, Talia Sisco, 24, and her best friend Tina Pourani, 23, accused of being sexually involved with several 15 and 16 year-old boys, who, according to authorities they knew through family friends.  Police also believe there are more victims and are asking people to come forward.

Brennan Brackbill from Hershey, Pennsylvania, was photographed holding his sons Isaiah and Caleb to his bare chest when they were born on April 24. Brennan and his wife, Lesa, were devastated when their 20-month-old daughter, Victoria, died from Krabbe disease in March 2016, and the incredible loss made him even more determined to have an initial bond with his sons. 'We treasure every moment with them because of her,' he said. 'Tori’s loss taught us to find good in everything and it has certainly amplified our joy!'

Actress Chloe Dykstra penned a long and emotional essay on Thursday accusing an ex-boyfriend of 'long-term' abuse and then blacklisting her after she ended the relationship. Dykstra wrote the essay, titled Rose-Colored Glasses:A Confession, on the site Medium. Even though the 29-year-old actress and host didn't name her ex, several details she described in the piece suggests she is referring to Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick, 46. Hardwick and Dykstra split in 2014 after three years of dating. They each announced their breakup in similar tweets. Hardwick has not responded to the allegations by Dykstra.

Nichols was initially charged with her murder in 2015, but after a three-hour interrogation of Nichols was ruled inadmissible in court in 2017, he pleaded guilty to the lesser charges of negligent homicide and coercion in May 2017. His plea deal included a sentence of three years' of probation, with credit for 19 months of jail time.

First Lady Melania Trump was in New York for a series of meetings, according to a spokesperson, though it is unclear who the meetings were with or what they were about. The trip to New York coincided with President Donald Trump's 72nd birthday, which he celebrated at the White House in Washington, DC. When asked about birthday celebrations on Friday by Fox News' Steve Doocy, Trump said that he 'got a lot of kisses' from his 'beautiful wife'. Melania's spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham said that the first lady flew to New York for her meetings. Trump had previously said that Melania was unable to go to Singapore because she couldn't fly for 30 days following her kidney surgery.

A rare film by the Miles Brothers which was shot two weeks after the great San Francisco earthquake of April 1906, was purchased by filmmaker Jason Wright of Silver Shadows Gallery Ltd on a hunch in 2016 that it might include secrets of the aftermath of that tragedy. The earthquake lasted for less than a minute, but the fires burned for three days, roaring across 430 blocks in what was then the 10th largest city in the United States. The film was bought at San Francisco's Alemany Flea Market and has finally been revealed to the public. But while the nine minutes of footage shows the decimation of the city, it also shows rebuilding and resiliency, which has led San Francisco back to its great state today, over 100 years later.

A thief was caught red-handed after she stole an Amazon package straight from a porch. Shocking footage shows the bandit trying to balance a large cardboard box on the handle bars of her bike as she is followed by a man filming from his car as he drives through Stockon, California. The man filming identifies as a neighbour of the package's owner. He follows the woman and makes threats to her to get the delivery back.

Amateur filmmaker Peter Maier, 27, caught the weather phenomenon known as a wet microburst in a timelapse video while staying at Lake Millstatt in Austria. After posting the video on Facebook, he said: 'One can't plan on capturing such images. It was a lucky shot.' Mr Maier's incredible video quickly went viral, attracting 1.4 million views and more than 25,000 shares. One commenter said it looked 'as if someone had poured a bucket of water up there'.

A dead shark (pictured) has washed up on the shores of Bondi Beach in Sydney on Saturday morning, local time. The three-metre Mako shark (pictured) was found in the waters by stunned beach goers (left) and surfers. Chris Selby first sighted the shark while he was out surfing and helped carry it to shore. Mr Selby said he was shocked when he saw the silhouette of shark beneath him while he was out in the surf at the popular Sydney beach. 'It was amazing. You don't see this at Bondi often,' Mr Selby said.

Incredible photos have emerged from China that show octopus and other sea creatures raining from the sky after being sucked out of the ocean by a violent storm. The images were taken in the coastal city of Qingdao in eastern China's Shandong Province on Wednesday. Although the images may seem unlikely, fish can be sucked from the sea by tornado-strength winds which form a waterspout. The animals sucked up with the water can be deposited hundreds of yards or even miles away after being released by the wind. Recent examples of the phenomenon include a 2017 incident in Mexico in when fish rained from the sky in the town of Tampico, and a downpour of fish in the town of Kerala, India in 2008. The Chinese Meteorological Administration, China's national weather agency, confirmed there had been a number of sea creatures blown onto the land by a waterspout.
