She's set to rock the stage at Croke Park, Dublin as part of her Reputation tour on Friday and Saturday night.

And Taylor Swift received support from some unlikely fans as she shared a snap of a bunch of roses she was gifted by iconic Irish band U2 ahead of her gig on Friday.

The songstress, 28, gushed over the surprise flowers on Instagram, as she shared the blossoming roses and a note from front-man Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen.

While little connects the musicians, U2's latest musical offering went head-to-head with Taylor's Reputation album back in December, when the Grammy Award-winners knocked Taylor off the Billboard album chart with Songs Of Experience.

But there's clearly no bad blood between the two as Taylor has had a few run ins with the Beautiful Day artists, and have been pictured together at the 2016 iHeart Music Awards and a Golden Globes after-party in 2014.

The heartfelt message comes after Taylor honoured the victims of last year's Manchester Arena terrorist attack as she performed in the stadium on Friday night.
