And Josh Brolin and wife Kathryn looked the picture of happiness as they jetted into New York City's JFK Airport together on Sunday, hours before the expectant beauty shared a gushing Father's Day tribute to the actor on Instagram.

The couple appeared smitten as they strolled through the terminal hand-in-hand, with Kathryn, 30, concealing her baby bump beneath a billowing white scarf.

She paired the garment with comfortable black leggings and trainers, while a trendy leather jacket made for a glamorous finish.

Josh, 50, kept his style equally pared-down in a patriotic T-shirt and leather jacket, teamed with jeans and suede boots.

Once the pair had settled into the city, Kathryn gushed over Josh and their impending arrival, as well as the Deadpool 2 star's children Eden, 24, and Trevor, 29, with a sweet Instagram post.

She wrote: 'Celebrating you today is easy. So thankful for your bringing two amazingly unique, passionately creative, and multifaceted creatures into my life already to give me the experience of being a stepmom.

Josh shares Eden and Trevor with his first wife Alice Adair, who he divorced in 1994 after six years of marriage.

Third time lucky: Kathryn is Josh's third wife, with the steps-son of Barbra Streisand having already been married to Alice Adair and Diane Lane

The step-son of Barbra Streisand later married actress Diane Lane in 2004 before filing for divorce in 2013.

Two years later, James became engaged to his model assistant Kathryn and the couple later married in September 2016.

Last week Kathryn - who is expecting a baby girl - revealed she is already half way through her pregnancy, writing: '20 Weeks ... Half way there. How has time gone by this fast already?

'I’ve felt the “flutter,” the first perceptible indication of her presence, which was slight and soft but definite, a barely there feeling of a kernel of popcorn popping inside my stomach,' she captioned the post.

'But then out of nowhere, just before the crack of dawn, not completely asleep but not yet awake, I felt her,' she continued.

'A roll, a tumble, a full body high-five, fully human in there holding court and making herself known now having the tools to do so.'
