Hoda Kotb paid tribute to her longtime partner, financier Joel Schiffman, on Father's day by sharing a precious video of their one-year-old daughter, Haley Joy, calling him 'dada.'

The 53-year-old Today show anchor posted the heartwarming Instagram footage on Sunday with the caption 'Happy Father's Day.'

The clip shows Joel, 60, holding little Haley in his arms, while Hoda asks her daughter: 'Who's that?'

'Dada,' Haley says, as she points to Joel.   

'Dada. Dada,' she says again, and Joel responds by slowly pronouncing her name 'Haley' and 'Daddy' to help her learn new words.

On the Today show on Monday morning, Hoda opened up about the touching moment, admitting she couldn't resist sharing it. 

'She was sweet. In fact she was saying daddy all day,' she explained. 'We couldn't believe it. First time. But, anyway, it was sweet.'

Hoda adopted little Haley in February 2017 after spending years thinking that motherhood would never be on the cards for her.

The journalist was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was 42 years old and came out of treatment unable to conceive. However, when she broached the subject of adoption with Joel, he immediately agreed.  

Since adopting Haley, who was born on Valentine's Day, Hoda has shared dozens of snapshots of her new life as a mother, including pictures of the little girl with her doting dad. 

And she isn't the only Today show star who paid tribute to her partner on Father's Day. 

Hoda's co-anchor Savannah Guthrie, 46, shared a sweet photo of her husband, Mike Feldman, with their children Vale, three, and Charley, one.

Today meteorologist Dylan Dreyer, 36, also posted a beachside photo of her husband, Brian Fichera, with their one-year-old son, Calvin.

Meanwhile, Today correspondent Jenna Bush Hager, 36, shared snapshots of herself with her husband, Henry Hager, 40, as well as a photo of him with their daughters Mila, five, and Poppy, two.

While Hoda, Savannah, Dylan, and Jenna honored their partners, Carson Daly and Al Roker paid tribute to their late fathers. 

Carson, 44, shared photos of himself with his father Jim Daly, who died of bladder cancer when he was a child, and with his stepfather Richard Caruso, who passed away in late 2017. 

'We lost Jim Daly when I was 5, and Dick Caruso, aka "pops" last yr,' he wrote. 'Yes, I miss them both deeply, but I’m so thankful that God blessed me with 2 incredible fathers.

Carson and his wife, Siri Pinter, have three children, Jackson, nine, Etta, five, and London, three, and he also shared pictures of the drawings and notes his kids made him.

Al , 63, posted a throwback photo of himself with his wife, Deborah Roberts, and his late father, Albert Lincoln Roker Sr., as well as a picture of himself with his kids Leila, 19 and Nicholas, 15.
