Selma Blair reveals she is celebrating two years of sobriety ahead of her 46th birthday
Selema Blair is turning 46 on Saturday and she has been sober for two years.
The Legally Blonde star acknowledged the milestones in an emotional Instagram post early Friday morning.
The mother-of-one revealed that she was celebrating her birthday and sobriety anniversary on the same day.

As with any celebration comes happiness, but the Cruel Intentions actress' journey has had its ups and downs.
'Two years sober,' she wrote.

The brunette beauty also used the Instagram post to thank the people in her life who made it possible and helped her along the way.
She also wrote, 'I thank the lord and my friends,' Blair said. 'I prayed for a miracle at my lowest points. I am a living miracle. Thank you. Thank you. #birthdaygirl #almost46 #summersolstice #grace.'
This isn't the first time Blair has opened up about her addiction and substance abuse.
She made quite the stir back in June 2016 when she was removed from an international flight as it landed in Los Angeles following her return from Cancun, Mexico.

Sources alleged that the star, at the time, appeared to be 'a combination of prescription medication with alcohol.'
'I made a big mistake yesterday,' Blair's wrote in a statement to Vanity Fair the next day.
'After a lovely trip with my son and his dad, I mixed alcohol with medication, and that caused me to black out and led me to say and do things that I deeply regret.'

'I am a flawed human being who makes mistakes and am filled with shame over this incident,' she added.
'I am truly very sorry.'
Arthur's father is fashion designer Jason Bleick. Selma and Jason split up in 2012 after two years together.
