Sophie Turner defends her new Game of Thrones arm tattoo after speculation she spoiled final season

Sophie Turner defended her new Game of Thrones-themed left forearm tattoo on Thursday night after fans speculated that her ink spoiled the eighth and final season premiering next year.

Artist Lauren Winzer branded the British 22-year-old with a direwolf head and the phrase 'the pack survives' on June 9 at the Hunter and Fox Tattoo Studio in Australia.

'When I was getting it done, people advised me not to because it looked like I was giving everything away,' the six-time SAG Award nominee admitted on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

'But I wasn't! It's just a quote from [my monologue during] last season, but everyone figures that the pack really does survive, but it's just a moral that I like to live by.'

Sophie - whose character used to own a direwolf called Lady - then joked: 'I'll just get [the ending] tattooed on my forehead next time.'

In the HBO hit, Turner plays Lady of Winterfell Sansa Stark, whose late father Lord Eddard 'Ned' (played by Sean Bean) coined the House of Stark phrase in the first season.

For her London appearance, the Josie actress slipped her slim 5ft9in figure into a black knit sweater, grey mini-skirt, and black thigh-high boots selected by stylist Elizabeth Saltzman.
