I would like to recommend the Moon Palace Hotel in Cancun as a good 5* All Inclusive destination. From the minute we got there we were treated like royalty.

A bus is provided to take you to the other Moon Palace Resorts where you can spend the day and then return to your hotel.

The Moon Palace sister hotel Moon Palace Sunrise is right next door - a 3 minute walk or transport is provided.

The Moon Palace is set well away from the strip and is not within walking distance.

We had a choice of approx 9 restaurants between the two hotels and also the use of the restaurants of other Palace Hotels on the strip.

They do not have a booking system, which we found to be good.

During this fortnight we did not have bad stomaches at all.

The rooms have built-in jacuzzis and were superior rooms.

We found that the beach at the Moon palace was always awash with thick seaweed even though they tended to clear them up each morning, so we found that we had to venture to other Palace hotels where the beaches were pristine.

The pool area had sufficient sunloungers and when you found it too hot you can put your sunbeds in the pool.

We did not have to get up early for a sunbed.

The waitress service by the pool and on the beach was 1st class.

Whilst walking through the grounds we came across large reptiles; iguanas and large gekkos. This is normal and they were pretty to see.

We went shopping to the shopping centres but found that they were no different to the U.K. although a lot more expensive.

The trips were also very expensive for what they were. I would suggest that you shop around.

Overall the holiday was 5* through and through.
